A step to the aroma not to be missed
I wanted to express my sincere congratulations on the exceptional quality of your establishment. We spent a good night in this hotel. The air conditioning was a real comfort. We were delighted by the warm welcome of this family family, Amelia and waiter Joan. The restaurant is excellent (super good mousaka, extra pork skewer), the staff is very caring, the pool is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to extend our visit by having lunch the next day with the possibility to continue practising the pool. Thank you for everything and continue to offer this remarkable service!

Not worth it
When we arrived after a long car ride the hotel turned out to be overbooked. The debt was thrown at booking by the 'friendly' host. She spoke good English and seemed to want to give a solution to us. We had booked this hotel 2 nights to explore the area and raft, for the garden, and the pool. So our son could enjoy himself. We were quite disappointed when we heard this news, she indicated that the only option for us was to go to a guest house of her grandmother a lot further away. We were glad we weren't homeless with our son but this guest house was a huge downgrade. No beautiful garden, or place for us to play a game outside, no swimming pool or other swimming spot. The road to the river was full of rubbish and was very styled so this was also not a possibility.
The room was very basic and had no facilities. The television didn't work and it was nothing more than a place to sleep. The host of hotel Aroma wanted us to pay the same amount for the room to her without intervention of booking, this could only be done in cash while we absolutely did not get what we had booked. She also indicated to booking.com that we had not shown up!! Which means booking will possibly charge NO-SHOW fees to us when this was beyond our control. For this reason I chose not to pay anything to her and to arrange this via booking.
Because we absolutely didn't want to stay another night in that terrible guesthouse we could happily book an extra night at our next destination. This cost us another €100 extra.
Later we found out via booking that she was obliged to give an upgrade or offer an equivalent alternative to us and must reimburse the cost of it. She deliberately concealed this and therefore put us on NO SHOW. She indicated that there was no other hotel in Permet with pool but we were never asked anything we could have stayed 20km away. We feel ripped off and I would never recommend this hotel!!!

To avoid
Hotel very close to the road and very poorly soundproofed. The pool where you couldn't see the bottom. The rooms are not spacious. Pros: the kindness of the family as well as dinner and breakfast

Bad hotel
Bad hotel. By the side of the road. No real bathroom, shower hose plugged into the sink tap. Sheets torn. It is an Albanian 3-star hotel that is worth nothing.

A simple and perfect stay, thanks to the extraordinary hospitality
We spent two nights at the Hotel Aroma and had a really great time. From the first moment, the owners welcomed us with great kindness and helpfulness: we felt at home.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the outdoor area with swimming pool, bar and restaurant is pleasant and relaxing. We had dinner both nights: homemade, tasty and well prepared dishes. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise: served at the table, rich and varied – with eggs, cheeses, wienerli, savoury pie, jams, fresh fruit and juices.
The value for money is really excellent: two nights in a triple room, with two dinners, two breakfasts and some extra drinks, for a total of 150 euros. We also took advantage of the laundry service.
A simple, authentic and lovingly cared for place. We heartily recommend it, especially for the warm welcome of the owners, which really makes a difference.
