Far from a 4-Star Resort – Extremely Disappointing Experience
Our problems started the moment we checked in. We were assigned a room where the key cards did not work properly. We asked for an additional key, but our request was refused. We also requested a different room because of the ongoing issues, but no alternative was offered.
The bathroom was one of the biggest disappointments. There is no proper shower screen, so every shower floods the entire bathroom floor. Instead of fixing the issue, the hotel handed us a floor squeegee and expected us to remove the water ourselves to avoid slipping. We came on holiday, not to clean the bathroom after every shower.
Privacy and security were also concerning. The balconies are easily accessible from neighboring rooms, and our balcony door would not lock properly. We reported this immediately, but nothing was done during our stay.
The food was another major letdown. The buffet lacked variety and the quality was well below the standard expected from a 4-star property. The snack selection was extremely limited, consisting mainly of cheese, ham, watermelon, and melon.
Breakfast was poorly organized. The coffee machine was located outside the buffet area, forcing guests to queue for long periods. Having to leave the restaurant area and wait at the bar just for a coffee made breakfast unnecessarily inconvenient.
Another disappointment was the bar shown in the hotel's promotional photos. Although it exists physically, it was not operating during our stay, making the advertising feel misleading.
The beach area is not private, despite the impression given by the hotel's marketing. This is not what most people expect when booking a resort holiday.
We raised several of these issues with the hotel manager, Eda, but unfortunately none of the main problems were resolved. We expected proactive customer service and practical solutions, but instead we were left to deal with the inconveniences ourselves.
Overall, we spent far too much time dealing with problems instead of enjoying our holiday. Based on our experience, this property does not provide the facilities, service, or standard that we would expect from a 4-star resort. We would not return and cannot recommend it.
