Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic

Beautiful hotel with incredible views, surrounded by fields of fruit and the sound of birds and crickets. Very peaceful, clean, and with a wonderful outdoor sitting area. My family experienced an idyllic 2 days together enjoying the nature and the fresh food served by the hotel. The breakfast was some of the best that I have ever had - fresh eggs, mountain tea, cheeses, fig jam. You could taste that it was all organic.

A hotel in the countryside.

We stayed last night in this hotel in the countryside. We asked for a double room, which was not large. All the double bedrooms instead were more spacious than ours (we saw them all because along the corridor the doors of the unoccupied rooms were all open). In our room there was a bit of humidity related to the fact that the room had been closed probably for months and had not been properly ventilated. Besides the whole hotel is facing north and therefore gets little sun. The bathroom was not windowed. Good television and wifi in the lobby (room did not work). Excellent and hearty breakfast with a wide choice of typical cheeses, fried eggs and caramelized figs. As a hot drink for breakfast there was only good tea but no coffee. Very kind owners who last night offered us a locally produced raki.

Amazing time

My room was on the east side. You get the morning light, the sound of birds and the smell of fresh flowers! Free parking and 1 ha of nature around the main building. A lot to see!!! Very nice staying!

Gastfreundliches Haus, Nähe Kloster Ardenicë

Das Hotel Nature in Kolonjë liegt auf halben Weg zum Kloster Ardenicë, das wegen seiner Fresken und als Heiratsort von Skenderbeg bekannt ist.
Es ist heute ein Familienhotel, das offenbar zu kommunistischen Zeiten als Erholungsort für höhere Parteikader diente. Tatsächlich gibt es hinter dem Hotel noch Sicherheitsbunker im Berg, die aber von außen nicht sichtbar sind.
Die Hotelzimmer sind sehr einfach, aber sauber. Was uns an diesem Hotel faszinierte, war die große Gastfreundlichkeit. Das großzügige und sehr gute Essen, das reichhaltige Frühstück. Wir hatten bald das Gefühl nicht Kunden, sondern wirklich Gäste zu sein. Das WLAN funktionierte einwandfrei und der Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam.
