Had a fantastic stay for our family of three in a lovely resort in Albania . Staff really made our experience great .
The resort was convenient for us to travel to by taxi and had everything we needed for our3, day stay. Set in a beautiful surroundings . We were greeted like old friend from all of the stafff as we had previously stayed at Nuevo deluxe in may 2026 and they all remembered us which was lovely . Our son has additional needs and they were more than happy to help when ever they could making our stays happy and stress free time.
The room was spacious for a family of three , it was very clean and had all amenities we required.
The pool and waterslides were great for our son and the reason for our stay , they were clean and there was plenty of sun loungers for all guests. The lifeguards were attentive when the slides were open and paid particular attention to our son and his needs , meaning he could have some independence .
Overall great resort for a break in Albania . Staff were fantastic and really added to our overall experience. This hotel is perfect for a family break and was very reasonably priced.
The food was superb , we ordered from the restaurant and had some lovely meals . Particularly the pizza we had at least in daily .The Risotto was exquisite .

A Truly Atrocious Stay

I booked this hotel with high hopes after seeing its “10 – Exceptional” rating, but my experience was the complete opposite. I now seriously question the legitimacy of those reviews.
The hotel looks good on arrival, but everything that followed was disappointing.
Service & Staff
• Staff were rude and lacked basic customer service skills.
• Service was painfully slow. I saw the same staff working at 3pm and again at 10am the next morning, which explains a lot.
• Reception staff in particular need customer service and compassion training.
Food & Drink
• We were served a non‑alcoholic drink that contained alcohol, which is dangerous and unacceptable.
• Food took ages to arrive. I watched the pool boy walk around with my order for ten minutes, and by the time it reached me, it was cold. We asked for a new one.
• The inside bar area is uninviting and poorly stocked.
• Breakfast was below standard and badly laid out.
Safety Concerns
This hotel has serious safety issues.
• The slides are dangerous. My husband and son suffered friction burns and injuries.
• The pool area is extremely slippery, especially around the blue section when getting out.
• The bottom of the pool has pieces missing, causing cuts.
• People gather at the bottom of the slides, creating hazards the lone staff member struggles to manage.
• The “pool bar” is essentially just seats in the water, with the actual bar far away.
Cleanliness
• The toilet area was disgusting, with something smeared across the floor.
• Public areas lacked proper upkeep.
• Rooms are dated but acceptable.
• Cleaning staff and security were the only consistently pleasant team members.
Management
There appears to be little to no management involvement.
Standards are low, safety issues are ignored, and staff seem exhausted and unsupported.
Final Thoughts
I’ve travelled widely, and this hotel falls far below the standard of similar destinations. It’s a shame, as I believed the area was improving for tourism, but this stay has changed my mind. With proper training, oversight, and investment, things could improve, but in its current state, I cannot recommend this hotel.

Nice family-friendly resort
Nice little resort in Kune, Shengjin, Lezhè, where there are no other resorts with water slides like this one. Prices for pool and loungers are very reasonable as compared to other so-called resorts along Kune beach. Pool very clean. Nice restaurant and cafè and hotel for those who want to reside in the resort. 10min drive from the resort you are in the centre of Shengjin and some 15 min to Lezhè which is a bigger town. We visit this resort every time we are in Kune Shengjin and recommend it strongly.

A True Gem of Albania
Nuevo Deluxe is a hidden gem, wish I knew existed earlier! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm welcome. As a family of 6 with 4 kids, they allowed us to park right next to the reception doors to allow an easy load-off while helping with carrying suitcases up to the 2nd floor right to our room!
And everything else from that moment on unfolded to create a trip that we will remember as one of the greatest of all time! It's hard to mention all the positive points this place has to offer, but I will have a try:
1. As mentioned, from the moment you walked in, the meet and greet from staff was great and made you feel right at home.
2. The hotel and its amenities are at another level; the rooms are spotlessly clean, the swimming pools have very good quality water for both kids and adults, and the waterslides are a wonderful addition to keep the kids entertained.
3. The breakfast was very fulfilling with an abundance of local produce of all fresh fruits & veg, including breads, eggs that were so tasty, juices & coffees, and the list goes on...
4. The restaurant food was great too; apart from eating a couple of times outside in the city, we had the rest of our dinners there, and they were very delicious, from seafood pastas or risottos to definitely pizzas that were at another level – the best ones we ever tasted, proper Neapolitan style. They are a must-try!
5. The bar by the pool was very kind and made you feel very welcome and had a great choice of drinks and beverages and was a great spot to watch some football games at late evenings.
I just want to say a huge thanks to all the staff and shout out some of these names, like Kelvisa, Emanuel, and Klajdi and all the others, because without you guys this establishment wouldn't be the same! See you next year !

If you're looking for peace and quiet, run away!
We stayed two nights in this 4* resort which offers quality accommodation but whose services do not meet the standards. The suite we booked was spacious, comfortable and equipped with a very large shower. Good point from that point of view. On the other hand, the breakfast offer had shortcomings even though it is officially “all-inclusive”. Coffee costs and there is no tea. Few pastries. The bread offering is minimalist.
The most disturbing is on the pool side with a loud sound system and a thunderous “beach party” atmosphere which occupies the entire space. The establishment has several slides which attract large families from outside the hotel. To the point that we wonder what we came to do here, in this overcrowded place which has never become anything other than a paid aquatic complex...
So you might as well know this before booking.
