Disappointing experience!
We went to Baresha with great enthusiasm because of the positive things we had heard, especially about the food. We stayed one night — the food was delicious, but I can’t say the same about the hotel conditions. Overall, for the price, the room was okay, but the bathroom didn’t have a mirror, and there was only one small mirror placed on the floor in the room — you had to crouch down to see your face. The shattaf in the bathroom didn’t work either.
The worst part was that the electricity went out at 7 in the morning, and there was no water, and they didn’t even turn on the generator. When we went down for breakfast and asked the staff, they gave the excuse that “we do have a generator, but it’s new and we haven’t set it up yet — we’ll do what we can, but we don’t know if it’ll start.”We said, “At least light the fireplace so we can warm up — we have a 2-year-old child,” but the answer again was, “We’ll see, because we don’t have small woods, and I’m not sure if it’ll light.” Then, as we were leaving, they even said, “It’s not that cold anyway!” After we insisted, they finally lit the fire — for about 30 seconds
When other guests started coming down for breakfast and complaining too, after about an hour and a half they finally turned on the generator — which, apparently, was working perfectly fine since we didn’t see anyone fixing it!The strangest thing was that the girl from the staff kept standing there with a sulky face the whole time she was serving and even when we left ♀️
