Nice stay and excellent breakfast at the centre of Shkodër

Staying one night at Hotel Loredano, we had a comfortable stay at the centre of the city. Beds were soft, bathroom freshly renovated and air con functional. A couple of details could have been improved (there was a stain on the sheets and a slipper left under the bed, for example). The rooms have effective double glazing, which is helpful when the street outside comes alive of an evening! We were impressed by the breakfast, as we were offered an array of local food by friendly staff. The bar here is quaint, Italian in theme and a nice place to have a drink in the evening. If you are leaving Shkodër for a few days the hotel can store your bags whilst you are away but note that the storage space is outside and can easily be accessed by anyone entering the hotel from the road.

Wonderful place to stay in Shkoder

We only stayed one night in Shkoder but we really loved our stay at Hotel Loredano. The room was bright, clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable and we were given a sumptuous breakfast before leaving. The staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. Five star experience.

Great location and comfy rooms, Amazing breakfast !

Good location, lovely bedrooms (clean, warm and comfortable) and very pleasant helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and a very cosy atmosphere generally. A little noisy in the restaurant on a Friday / Saturday night so maybe tricky to sleep early ! Good value.

Really bad service

The Hotel Loredano in Shkoder was a big disappointment! We had carefully selected this hotel as part of trip in northern Albania, as it looked really special. 3 days prior to our stay the hotel asked us to cancel our reservation on Booking.com the reason being: "Due to a problem we had with the overbooking". A weird way of making it sound like it wasn't their responsibility - and no apology offered either. Calling them did not help to solve the problem and they were generally rude and unhelpful. This meant that we suddenly had to find new accommodation in the middle of high season with three days notice - nearly impossible. All in all really bad service that left us with the feeling that we were maybe being pushed out of the hotel for someone else.

The best hotel in Albania

Great room. Great bed. Good bathroom. THE BEST breakfast! Way far the best breakfast we had in Albania. This was our best accomodation we had in a 2 week trip! I really suggest this place to everyone. Nice place also for a drink. Free parking spot. Airco in the rooms.
