Hotel Tradita - accommodation with character.

Hotel Tradita is a set of beautiful old buildings with tons of character and a beautiful courtyard where you can eat and listen to live music most nights. It is a very short walk to the main tourist streets. Although on a main road it is quiet. The food is excellent. We had dinner and few times. Breakfast is buffet style with tons of options ranging from cereals, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, cooked food, breads, jams, olives etc. It is also very clean. Great value for money too.

Huge Noise Air Conditioning Hotel especially Saturday night over 11:00 Huge Noise

No free drinking water in the room / handcuffs Refrigerator Telephone No coffee port / Hotel that can't sleep properly / Saturday until 11 pm Large speaker singer invitation A tremendous noise from the courtyard ~ Unbearable noise / music speaker noise Too large courtyard stage size considering noise should be reduced / Room not cleaned 2 times told the reception but who came in the trace / No safe in the room / The advantage is that the long battery called the building is old and especially the room door wood material (no thickness)

It is very uncomfortable to lock the key inside the room / the door of the room may be stuck inside the room / noisy music / the restaurant of the hotel on Sunday until 10 30 pm

No place for an early night

The hotel is clean and comfortable. We had a simply furnished, but perfectly adequate room with a balcony and a comfortable bed. The small bathroom was very clean.
Our peace was disturbed by the very loud floor show in the courtyard downstairs. The highly amplified music and raucous activities continued until 11pm, thus ending our hopes of a much needed early night.
Breakfast was quite good and the filtered coffee was very good.
If you are a night owl, you might enjoy this hotel.

You cannot review Eastern European hotels with the same eye you use to review a Western hotel. They are very different. This is not a bad review. This was a very unique property and eclectic hotel. Their food was excellent; their breakfast was expansive and had hot and cold food. The room (Room F-02) was small and awkward due to a glass wall (see pics) that allowed the potential for people from the street or other hotel rooms to look into my bathroom. The TV didn't work, there was no safe, no real AC, no coffee maker, no iron or ironing board. This room lacked the privacy that travelers seek. I might stay here again, but I would want another room location on the 2nd floor to assure privacy.

Authenticity and charm in the heart of Shkodër

We stayed at Hotel Tradita and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The hotel stands out for its traditional, well-kept style, which allows you to enjoy a different stay with a lot of character.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, perfect for lounging. The staff was impeccable, always close and willing to help, which made us feel at home. We were prepared breakfast to take away at 6 am and, in addition, we were able to leave the car parked two days for a small price.
Definitely one of the best places to stay in Shkodër. We would recommend it 100%.
