Amber village Framissima

Top-notch family stay. Exceptional establishment on a human scale, only about fifty units on 2 levels, pool at a good temperature without being heated, beach 250 m away, and rich and varied restaurant buffets. Special mention to Emma, Lenny, and Teddy from the entertainment team.

Relaxing!!! And modern

Everything is great: the restaurant, the rooms, the team, the pool, and the team at the front desk, and a special mention to the car rental company Maison Rental; he was attentive and is present at the hotel every evening..(+355 69 538 7023). The hotel is new, but a bit far from everything, but relaxing.

Disappointment....

Our one-week stay disappointed us greatly. Indeed, we had chosen this Framissima because the reviews were all positive. Therefore, our disappointment was even greater.
We had signed up for the boarding pass option that we were supposed to receive 24 hours before departure and that we never received despite our multiple calls and emails. The return ones were sent to us 12 hours before the return flight.
The welcome at the airport was just acceptable by two non-French-speaking people.
The minibus driver was more than reckless, driving at an excessive speed and without any safety distance from other vehicles.
The welcome at the hotel went well, and despite the late arrival, a sandwich was waiting for us in the room.
The room (812)!!! No storage, a few shelves, a mini-fridge with three bottles of water, a small safe that wasn't bolted down, a nice-sized TV, beds with folded sheets and towels placed on them, a dusty floor, and a torn mosquito net on the window. But the icing on the cake was the bathroom. No shelves, no towel racks, hair in the soap dish, poor-quality faucets that were difficult to adjust and in a shabby state, and signs of poor maintenance in the shower and toilet. The toilet seat was in bad condition.
We note that the air conditioning and the bedding are of good quality.
Breakfast is decent, as are the meals, and the waitresses try out a few words of French.
The pool lounge chairs are of course reserved with towels, but at the beach (where you have to cross a road) there is plenty of availability.
Regarding the kids' club, one of the reasons for choosing this club, it was located at the beach and was not frequented at all. Sometimes there was only one child, or even none. Our 5-year-old granddaughter was exposed to watching "K-pop Demon Hunters," which is normally recommended for ages 10 and up.
I consider that the entertainment was more than very discreet, but with only two entertainers, how could it be otherwise?
We encountered a small health issue with our 5-year-old daughter and we spoke to the manager; she kindly sent us to the pharmacy, telling us that the pharmacist spoke perfect English!!! (Great, not us). We ran into her a few times and she never once asked how the little one was doing.
All common areas were well maintained, the restaurant furniture, the pool and beach lounge chairs were of good quality, and the room "cleaning" was done every day (sheets folded and towels placed on the beds).
Note: no ice cream at the restaurant during the entire week, but for sale at the beach bar for three euros.
For the return flight, a taxi handled the transfer with a different driving style than the one on the way there, but no more cautious.
In conclusion, this is not a club, but a hotel, with budget rooms. Why not say so?

First time.

For a first time, it is a success. We had a pleasant stay thanks to the attentive, available, and friendly staff.
We had a problem upon arrival at the airport regarding the transfer: over 2 hours of waiting because the shuttle was not there. We called Fram and the person on the phone didn't care at all. Fortunately, there were bus/taxi drivers who helped us resolve the issue. So the Fram information service is zero. After arriving at the hotel, we were welcomed very well. The buffet is decent and very clean.
It's true, there is nothing around, but it is peaceful and there are excursions to visit.
For me, the lack of bike rentals for short rides is a downside.
Thank you very much to the staff.

Very good location
