A Beautiful Surprise

We got to Himare and felt overwhelmed by the confusion so we decided to take a look at Livadh beach. We found the Blue Horizon and were not disappointed. First of all Joanna and Sofia conquered us with their kindness and willingness to do everything in their power to make us comfortable. We got a double room with sea view and two balconies. The room was very clean, every day they changed the bedsheets and the bath towels. The price included homemade breakfast, two beach chairs and an umbrella at the beach just in front. Private parking at no cost. Highly recommended!

Impeccable family hotel, feet in the water

The hotel is brand new. It is located 20 meters from the beach, from which it is separated by a simple track which serves all the shops and accommodation on the seaside. The building is perpendicular to the beach, so some rooms (including ours on the 2nd floor , number 24) have a double sea/garden exposure (South and East exposure) and others only garden (East exposure). Large, functional, bright, impeccable room. The price of the room includes a parking space, a parasol and deckchairs on the beach, as well as an ABSOLUTELY delicious breakfast: it is plentiful, varied and homemade (olives from the garden, cakes, "petula" , etc) and we take it in the small garden in a really friendly and family atmosphere. It is absolutely worth the price paid (160 euros), especially when you consider other hotels of the same type in the region. Livadhi beach is a pretty pebble beach, very clean, with a good choice of bars and restaurants but rather quiet in the evening. In conclusion, a highly recommendable hotel!
