Decent hotel in a nice part of Algiers, plenty of character. The beds were very comfortable and the place was beautifully furnished, with lots of marble. The breakfast was adequate and tasty (excellent coffee!). The only slight weaknesses were on cleanliness (we had to ask them to replace the bath mat) and some items not being well-maintained, eg the phone didn't work and the shower head was leaking. Would return.

It's an OK hotel. Dining very limited. Cleanliness and overall ok, but won't be back as a 1st choice.

Review for Sultan Hotel in Algeria:
The hotel reception is pleasant, but the air quality is not ideal. There is a strong smell of smoke in the reception area, and some staff members smoke in the restaurant as well. For this reason, I believe the hotel is not suitable for non-smokers.

My family and I traveled to Algiers from California and we stayed at Hotel Soltane for few days. We had and excellent experience. Very clean, conveniently located near the City and all the tourist sites. Most importantly, the hotel staff were very friendly and offered EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will stay here again on our next visit.
