A gem by the water

And beautiful spot on the flowing water of the river while sitting outside in front of your cottage.
A beautiful cottage moreover with a nice bathroom and spotless.
The food was fine as was the service. The staff were all equally nice.
The highlight was the boat trip towards sunset where you saw birds, hippos and crocodiles. Highly recommended!!

Lodge correct step: do the job for one night

Without fuss, it is a simple but clean stage lodge on the edge of the Kavango.
3 course meal correct for 16€ - drink rate also correct.
Wifi light and no swimming pool.
Perfect for a late arrival.
For your Southern Africa tour, we recommend TOURMALINE Safaris Tours. Fleur will concoct a personalized program with small onions in perfect French. She is very responsive and professional.

Highly recommended

The Kuvira River Camp offers not only a thatched roof on the chalets but also lodges in the area that cost many times as much. There are also tented buildings installed in the camp. Communication was impeccable and everyone was very friendly. The food was very good. The location is great. When you step out of the buildings you stand a few meters away from the river almost at the same level. The evening drive on the river was very nice. Next time, instead of Kuvira, we would skip one or two more expensive lodges.

Beautiful there

Fantastic, great location, clean, nicely decorated cottage, top service, friendly, helpful. Sunset tour highly recommended, we saw Hippos. Dinner by the river was very delicious. Breakfast also very good. Attention cash payment only.

Amazing!!

Will visit Kuvira again!
We slept 1 night, traveled and went back to visit kuvira again for a last night at the river. Friendly owners, staff is friendly and helpful. With our sundowner boat cruise we saw the hippos and crocodiles while the sun set and painted the sky.
First visit we stayed in the tents. Clean, comfy and beautiful.
Second visit we stayed in the river chalets. Soo comfy and beautiful view over the river.
Can't wait for our next visit to Kuvira!
