I had wonderful stay even during a difficult time

Superb location. Apartment is located right in front of a subway station (Subte) and it is also a stone's throw away from Plaza de Congreso. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Minutes away from the city centre (Casa Rosada) by Subte and 15 mins away on foot.
The apartment is a very nicely refurbished old classic apartment (very Belle Epoque). The property is immaculately clean, rooms are comfortable. Very professionally run property, with hired cleaners, breakfasts prepared every morning, and the many little things that make your stay pleasant like your personal food basket for keeping your groceries.
The hosts, Andrea and Mario, are amazing people. I was in Buenos Aires during the sudden border closure due to the Coronavirus pandemic. They provided me with constant updates and supported me the whole way through to my departure from Buenos Aires, from organizing taxis and just being a reassuring voice over the phone. I'm incredibly grateful and will definitely book with them again when I return to Buenos Aires to resume my trip.

If I could give to any accomodation 11.....

.. instead of today's maximum 10, I would give it to La Casa de Lola. Exceptional in any respect ! The pictures provided in booking portal show the reality. Several months ago reconstructed large flat offers 8 mostly single bed rooms, 3 shared bathrooms, very well equiped kitchen and small dining space linked to the kitchen. Very cosy rooms, comfy beds. Very clean. Breakfast was typically Argentinian - sweet, but nothing prevented us from buying ham and eggs and prepare them ourselves. I did feel here like at home. This was the start / first stop on our first yourney to South America, so everything was very new for us and we felt a bit insecure. Very nice owner Andrea who speaks fluent english and her husband Mario helped us in many different areas like -where to go and when not, public transport, tango show, money exchange, trip to LaPlata .... simply their help was invaluable. The house is situated in very centre of the city, few minutes walk from Obelisc. We had a feeling that the area is very safe even later in the night. The only minus is that if you open the window, there is a noise from the hotel terrace just in the opposite side of the street ( until 10-11 pm) and from the street below, during the whole night. If I come to Buenos Aires once more, I will not spend a second trying to find any other accomodation. One tip - there is a selfservice eatery just 50 m towards Avenida 9. Julio offering really wide selection of fresh and tasty local cold and hot meals at very low price compared to any restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Super - super - super

Durch Zufall habe ich mich für dieses Hostel entschieden, da meine ursprüngliche Buchung wegen Wasserschaden storniert wurde, und ich sage "Glücksfall". Eine wunderhübsche Wohnung mit blitzsaberen Zimmern, Bädern und Küche. Die Besitzerin Andrea und ihr Mann Mario sind wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Zusätzlich kann man Wäsche waschen, was nach einer langen Reise Gold wert ist. Ich kann dieses süße Hostel jeden wärmstens empfehlen, was Lage, Sauberkeit und Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis betrifft.
