Excellent experience

The quality/price of the place is excellent, the staff, the owner have the best vibe, very helpful and ready to help you, the hostel is in good condition, the comfortable rooms, the excellent pool, very good location, budget and rich restaurants very close to the hostel, the staff always knows the best activities to do in Mendoza.
I'd come back a thousand more times!!

The room is a dream and the location of the place is unique.
Furthermore, the attention is complete and adequate in each of the services.

Disappointment… we rented a private room for 6 nights, expecting livelyhood (meeting other people, sens of community, etc) since this hostel is located in the bar/restaurant area. It might be the time of the year but the place seemed very empty except for staff members or volunteers. We didn’t feel very comfortable using the kitchen because it was difficult to communicate with the group even though we speak a little bit of Spanish. The staff we were in contact with barely spoke English so unfortunately it was very difficult to communicate and receive help to book activities for example. The wifi didn’t work in our room, only in the common areas (which were dark and empty in the evening, so not very welcoming).
There is a nice backyard, with a pool, which is one of the reasons we booked the hostel, but no one was using it and the area around it was always empty.
We though it was the time of the year, but we visited other hostels in the area and booked tours through them, and saw that they were full of life, so if you are looking for a social environment, we wouldn’t recommend Chill Inn (at least in October).
Not clean, not dirty… but a lot of mold in the washrooms.
This being said, the washrooms are individual, which is very accommodating compared to shared washrooms.

An absolute kip

Location excellent but not worth it for one second. One staff member verbally abused me for having the temerity to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. They put guests in the same room as the volunteers who work there while we also had to share a dorm with the owner who slept there after partying until 6am. Was confronted by another staff member for talking in the room at 2pm in the afternoon. Genuinely the most bizarre experience I've ever had in a hostel. We left a day early rather than stay another minute in the place. Owner refunded the last night in fairness but an absolute joke nonetheless. Don't bother. Shambles.
