All positive.

A stately hotel, very well maintained and close to everything. Large and comfortable rooms, large bathroom with bidet and a large bathtub as before. Breakfast buffet, with fruit salad, cold cuts, yogurt, cereals, juice and excellent quality breads. It was fresh to use the pool (August), however it was spotless.
And the best, the quality of care and friendliness of the staff. Great price / quality ratio for a stay in Mendoza.

good hotel

old hotel, which complies. It's nothing fancy and there are older parts, like the elevators.
I went when it was cold so we didn't access the pool.
The location is excellent, close to shops, dining rooms and you have the pedestrian street a few blocks away.

Disappointing

It has very poor internet, a mediocre/poor breakfast with terrible service, I was almost ignored at points. The TV was tiny and probably dated back to the 80s as some of the channels were black and white or static! I didn’t try the pool as my luggage was lost at this point, however the ladders into the pool need a lot of maintenance as they were very wobbly.
The toilet in my room broke but was fixed. Important calls from Brazil about lost luggage were not put through properly, this caused me a lot of anxiety and frustration.
Although the front desk staff tried to be helpful they didn’t really do much to help.

Average

The hotel is a good one as a transit for backpackers. The rest is 3*.
However, it is located close to animated areas, so it is convenient for a little bit of nightlife.
If I were to climb Cerro Aconcagua again, I could come here again.

Nice Find

Great place for the following reasons:
1. Friendly and helpful front desk
2. Large and bountiful breakfast
3. Room was large with updated bathroom
4. Quiet at night
5. A feeling of elegance - even though it’s an old hotel. Entire hotel is spotless.
6. Great location - close to beaches and restaurants, all easily walkable
7. We’d definitely return if we come back to Sestri Levante.
