Hostel Confluencia

Set in one of Mendoza’s most traditional corners, Confluencia offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi in a remodelled antique building. There is a tour desk ready to assist with tips. At Hostal Confluencia rooms have simple décor, parquet floors and wood furnishings. They are equipped with air-conditioning and heating. Each room has an external private bathroom. Confluencia serves a full continental breakfast with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, croissants, homemade bread, cereals, regional jams, butter, natural fruits and juice. Guests have access to a common kitchen and dining area. There are BBQ facilities, where guests can prepare grilled meat, Argentinean style. The hostel is only 2 blocks from San Martin Avenue, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. El Plumerillo Airport is 8 km away. Please note the based on local tax laws, all Argentinian citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (VAT) of 21%. Only foreigners who pay with a foreign credit card, debit card or via bank transfer are exempt from this 21% additional fee (VAT) in accommodation and breakfast when presenting a foreign passport or a foreign ID along with a supporting document handed by the national migrations authority, if applicable. All Around Good!

Good choice of breakfast items, clean room and great location! It was a good experience and we have no complaints! Everything was clean and the room was comfortable. However, the beds are little aged but we good enough. The private bathroom is not connected to the bedroom (it is down the hall) but wasn't too bad at all.

To be honest I’m surprised this place gets such great reviews. We stayed in the suite with private bathroom in the room, and it wasn’t great. It was very old and rundown. The bed was awful, very saggy. The linen was also very old and in need of an update, as were the pancake flat pillows.
The shower sprayed most of its water throughout the bathroom instead of downwards, making for a constantly wet floor.
The breakfast is very basic, not very appealing.
I’m saying this, it is very cheap, so if you are on a budget it could be a good option.

The talent of hospitality

I have been in this hostel just for one night but I have strongly appreciated the kindness and the attention paid to their guests. Ivan and their team were extremely caring while I was experiencing troubles with my card. Their hostal is clean, comfortable, nicely furnished, and excellently located in Avenida Espana. And the breakfast is extremely rich. Although private bathrooms are located outside the bedrooms in the corridor, this appeared to me really a minor issue.

Perfect place for a few days in Mendoza !

You can’t get something better at this price !the staff is very helpful & friendly . The hostel is very clean, central position and room are really big. The owner Sonia took personally care of a mistake made by another agency for an excursion that we booked and she let us have an up grade for free for a wine tour, all I m saying is that is a simple place with good deals and very good people that make their best to assist you ! The rooftop terrace is very cute !

Great hostel

Book this hostel now if your want to stay in mendoza. The rooms are big and the ac works great. The breakfast is very good, with plenty of bread, cookies, fruits and cornflakes. The terrace of beautiful and the staff of helpful and nice.
