A few days in Mendoza Capital.

An excellent choice is the Hotel San Martin, with beautiful rooms and a classic buffet breakfast, across from Plaza Independencia and near the restaurants and nightlife. If you like to walk, you can enjoy the downtown area and the streets of Mendoza.

A hotel in need of a big renovation

The photos online have nothing to do with reality — the hotel urgently needs a complete renovation. At 2 AM, water started dripping onto my face from the bedroom’s air system, which was extremely unpleasant and unacceptable. The spa and pool area are rundown and dirty, clearly in need of major refurbishment. Overall, the experience was nothing like the advertisements. A big NO-GO.

A very well placed hotel

A very well placed hotel, under renovation. Our rooms had been redone recently. Large, clean and quiet.
Breakfast is good and hearty.
The very small pool is nice to cool off.

Recommended option with excellent location

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and in general the experience has been good, but I didn't want to seem unfair with a "regular" rating and I don't think it is "Very Good" either.
I think that what would best fit my experience would be "Good", but since that possibility is not there, I opted for the one finally indicated.
The room is very comfortable in size and perfectly clean.
It has a safe, minibar without drinks, 46" LED TV, electric coffee maker and extra fluffy pillows.
The temperature inside the room always seemed a little high to me, but I solved it by opening the window.
The only ugly thing is the view of a very unattractive internal patio, but for the guest who, like me, is not there all day, I don't think this matters too much.
Regarding the bathroom, the cleanliness is adequate, the towels were in perfect condition, and the shower had the correct water temperature.
The breakfast, without anything to highlight, because I think it could be improved a lot, but I cannot help but recognize the price=quality ratio, which was much cheaper than other hotel offers that I had analyzed in the area.
The location without a doubt is the strongest point of this establishment.
In front of the most prominent square in the city and close to many important tourist sites.
The price is very good, take advantage of paying part of it with ICBC Club points, for those who have the benefit of this same bank, for DESPEGAR.
If you don't have many pretensions and a tight budget, I recommend it.

Highly recommended. Comfortable and modern.

We asked for a triple and were given 2 interconnected rooms with their very comfortable private bathrooms. The good size bed. The best and at a very good price. Since I had previously booked in the next Hotel Argentino and the beds are 1.80 long. Not only rest better and although these charged me 1 night saved 40%. We will return to the Hotel San Martiny I highly recommend.
