A very pleasant 'hostal'

Booked sight unseen by phone, but it provided to be a very pleasant and well located property. Both my room with SC facilities and the public areas were bright, clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Location is handy to the bus station (15 mins. walk) as well as the city centre (15-20 mins. walk to the plaza).

Passable.

It is in front of San Martin Park, in an apparently quiet area. But don't be fooled, homeless people circulate through the park, and it is common to see them spending the night or doing their day's tasks in the vicinity, which leads me to say that I don't highly recommend being at leisure in the surroundings. Furthermore, in surrounding streets there are women and boys discreetly offering their "services." Despite this, no one told me that the area was unsafe.
It has many bus stops nearby, both going and returning. It is also very close to the center, also to the bus terminal.
The place is cheap, and simple, a little run down. The service was good, but I didn't stay long enough to comment further on the matter.
I had no complaints with the breakfast. The wifi worked well.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I stayed here two weeks ago. And used my credit card to pay. I was charged twice for my stay and contacted them straight away to alert them of the issue. I have contacted them several times since and still have not been refunded.
My advice... if you do stay pay in cash! As there is no customer service or follow up once you leave. I have had to make a complaint with booking.com as the service is so bad. Would not recommend staying here.

Good hotel with great staff

We spend 5 days in this hotel just before Christmas.
The airconditioned room was spacious and decently cleaned every day.
There is a friendly although small terrace with a few chairs with adequate wifi signal.
To escape from the heat you can sit inside where breakfast is served and which is airconditioned with excellent wifi signal.
This quiet hotel is situated at the border of a park 10 minutes walk from the central plaza.
The staff was very friendly and helpful! Great!
Good place to stay a few days.

After the repair... nice

They have been thorugh some repairing. everything is new. The only negative point is that they didn't give messages that friends left me in the hotel, but I understand that they were a bit confused finishing the repairing.
