Great Hotel and Super welcome!

We spent 3 nights with family. The welcome is very warm, with little care. Very good breakfast, varied. The rooms are large, comfortable, clean, with a balcony overlooking a river. The hotel is quiet, 4 km from the city center. To get to the centre, take an Uber (€4). I highly recommend it. We will return without hesitation during a next visit to USH.

great stay, would come back again!

our stay here was great. the owners were incredibly welcoming and kind, and it truly felt like being welcomed into their home.
one thing to keep in mind is to request a ground-level room if you need assistance with stairs. doing so, if possible, will make your stay much more comfortable. stairs are kind of unavoidable in this stay so be aware of that if that is something important to you :)

Like staying with family (in a positive way)

Staying at this property was one of the highlights of our trip to Latin America. It is a traditional Argentinian hotel, so if you’re expecting all the amenities of a major hotel chain, you won’t find them here. What you will find is a nice property that is filled with personal trinkets of the owner, perhaps the motivation for the name of the hotel, “my life”. The owner is engaging, outgoing, and wonderful to speak with. He spoke only Spanish, but fortunately was very tolerant of the Spanish that I learned many decades ago. Beyond the linguistic side, you can feel his warmth and genuine concern for his guests. The rooms were nice, clean and pleasant. The Internet worked, but as you would imagine for such a remote location, it probably won’t gain any speed records. Included breakfast was tasty and enjoyable. If one were a non-Spanish speaker I’m sure you could still do well with this property, just be prepared to use Google translate or a similar tool to communicate with the owner. So when I stay there again? Absolutely I’d love to come back. I did feel like I was being treated like a member of his family. indeed he had a member of his family staying with him, an in law, and I think he received very similar treatment to what we received.
I should mention one minor issue I had at the property was when I tried to check out and pay. I had problems using both my Chase Visa card and my Wise Visa debit card. I was finally able to get the charges through using my sister‘s Mastercard. So you might make sure that your card works early in the visit in order to avoid any difficulties.
Strongly recommended.

Simple but good hotel

Simple but good hotel in Ushuaia. Rooms are very clean and tidy. It only has a TV, nothing else. But that is also sufficient, because you like to stay in nature. You are in the city by Uber in 1ß min and in about the same time at the airport.
The prices are good value for money.
The service of the owner awarded
Breakfast is simple and good.

A wonderful stay in Ushuaia

A lovely family-run place in beautiful surroundings with views of the river and Beagle Channel. It's quite a distance from downtown Ushuaia (about an hour on foot) but a cab ride is easy to organise and inexpensive. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you Roger for being such a kind and helpful host!
