Modern, centrally located hotel with helpful staff
Myself and a friend stayed for two nights in April, after travelling from Yerevan. Our rate included breakfast.
Pros:
-Welcoming and helpful staff.
-Modern and clean premises.
-Free WiFi throughout hotel.
-Room 406 - spacious room with three single beds. Keycard entry. Integrated air-con unit. Open space with hanging area and shelves, bathrobes, hairdryer. Large sofa bed with cushions, table. Wall-mounted Blaupunkt TV (Armenian TV channels). Telephone. Desk & chair. Kettle, tea & coffee making facilities. Three complimentary bottles of water. Fridge. Small safe. Three single beds, two bedside tables. Attractive light fittings. Spacious en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, basin, mirror. Spacious balcony with 2 chairs & table, ashtray, swing seat and views of hotel rear grounds and mountain landscape beyond.
-Restaurant - I ate my first Armenian meal on the first evening: Tolma with Grape Leaves. My friend had pizza.
-Breakfast area - 9-11am - buffet includes hot food (eggs, sausages), salad, meats, fruit, yoghurts, cake, bread, jams.
Cons:
-No lift currently, but staff carried our suitcases to our room. A lift will be added when the newest section of the hotel is completed as well as a new Reception area.
Notes:
-There is a small convenience store across the road from the hotel. There is a Ararat Supermarket nearby on Ankakhutyan Street.

Uniquely cool!
This hotel is incredible and I think it's so alone.
First, it is just amazing to find so deep in the Armenian mountains a modern, civil hotel.
And secondly, its modernity is surprisingly combined with such a reception, by the staff, as if you are not a tourist, but a close relative, who has been long expected!
They wanted to go out for food tonight and it turned out they didn't have to go anywhere. There was a restaurant in the hotel and it was really great, with the same mix of menu choices and unique homemade dishes.
And for breakfast we got a table!!! (See photo.) There's only one danger. It's a lot and it's delicious.
We also praised the homemade halva and... We were given halvahs when we left.
In fact, we were put in spare suites instead of the standard rooms booked. The view from the window is good too.
Came to the point that BMG hotel is worth stopping by to just live here, but also it is a super convenient location to drive from here to Tatev, Hndzoresk and more.
Actually, we're very happy about the accidental discovery.

Great Hotel in Goris
This was a great hotel. Rooms were super clean and new. Had toothbrushes and other amenities. Breakfast was included and amazing. Staff was so nice and hospitable.
