Great motel - lovely stay

Great location near Hyde park shops and nice quite street - comfortable bed n everything worked well
The staff at reception were absolutely lovely and made me feel welcome and at ease and everything was very clear and straightforward- a pleasure to stay.

DON'T STAY HERE

DONT STAY HERE AS THERE ARE FULL BLOWN RENOVATIONS GOING ON....PLEASE SEE PICTURES
We booked jasper motor inn to stay Sunday night 4 august and Monday night 5 august 2024.
We turned up to check in and there were full renovations going on. Stuff was everywhere.
We walked in to our so called room and there was dirty carpets, the normal heater wasn't working and they had a very tiny thing sitting in the corner that was hardly heating anything.
We just didn't stay as it stressed us out so much.
There was no way we could stay. They should not even had rooms available. I think there was only 1 room available and it must have been the one we had.

Firstly Trip .com charged me $160.57 for room that on arrival receipt showed $137 paid so where did the extra go?
Then it went from bad to worse,
Windows didn't open
Cups and cultery very stained.
Poorly cleaned bathroom,
Towels were do small and no where to hang them.
Lighting in bathroom was really poor.
Air con could not be adjusted.
Then when turning bed down there was blood on the sheets.
Overall this was a disgusting experience.

Good Location. Helpful Staff.

I've stayed here many times & it's in a good location for me. The staff are responsive & helpful. Some things have been upgraded since my previous stay (new air-conditioner, new bedding, maybe new carpet as well). It's not fancy but it's fit for purpose & you can park your car right outside your room or close by. Plenty of hot water. Cafes, bakery, post office, hotel & gift shops all in walking distance.
