Value for money

Great location away from the city hustle but close enough to walk everywhere, or jump on the city loop bus. Loved the room layout, and beautiful view. Bit of fun having auto-opening curtain when entering the room - made us feel a bit fancy! Mattress a little too soft for us, but great quality & comfortable pillows. Bathroom amenities & rainfall shower excellent. In-room dining was delicious. Only disappointment was the coffee on offer in the hotel and at the Cafe - but admittedly we are coffee snobs! Friendly & helpful staff. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Oval again.

Wonderful Experience

We were greeted in the carpark by a friendly chap who directed us where to take our car. A short distance to hotel reception and into our beautiful room with a lovely parkland view. A little play with the fancy lighting, cup of tea and coffee and then onto welcome drinks in the lounge area where we chatted to a couple from Clare and people watched fans arriving out of the large window.
Entering the stadium was seamless directly from the hotel. Didn’t have to brave the weather at all. Bonus the Crows won!!
Down one set of escalators and we’re back in our lovely warm room
Off to breakfast in the morning with lovely views of the oval and heaters drying the grass
Breakfast was served quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff.
On checkout our car was waiting for us and again staff were efficient and friendly
We would love to do this again during footy season.

Luxurious Experience.

My granddaughter and I had the most amazing stay and experience at the Oval Hotel. The rooms were luxurious, clean and spacious with a fantastic views. Food was excellent, Staff were professional, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Walking distance to the city and many attractions. Highly recommend , we will be back. Thank you

Fantastic

Location and experience was the best with the footy package. The staff were so good and friendly and made my 4 year old grandson feel very special especially the young lady in the restaurant for breakfast
