Lichfield amazing stay
Amazing cabins. Very clean with lots of little extras, cheese board, milk and condiments. BBQ equipment and a plunge pool. Lorna and Lee were the best hosts offering lots of local information.

A bit overpriced, but nice enough base to explore the NP
Nice enough place, I wouldn't say it is luxury as the owner suggests. Just unit/donga accommodation with some nicer fittings. Bed was big and comfy, small kitchen had most things you would need. Had a barbecue and a fire pit that were well used, appreciated the firewood. Needs some lighting around the barbecue area.
The water tank 'pool' is a nice touch but the garden surrounding it is what makes the place - pretty. Was just a little concerned with the constant sprinklers on all day/night.
Due to a technical communication error...check in was difficult as the owner was inflexible and saw an opportunity to make extra money. A third person is not allowed and I was told I should read the website but if you book through an agent/booking site you don't necessarily read the website. She wouldn't allow a 3rd person, even with our own mattress and would only allow a caravan stay at extra cost. Granted it was discounted rate but there was absolutely no reason, she couldn't of helped us out and it felt super inflexible. We were close to having to turn around which put a dampener on things.
Other than that, grounds are big and quiet, absolutely beautiful dogs and donkey in the top paddock. Nice stay, 15 minutes from Litchfield. However if you're only out this way to see the national park and not around long enough to use the facilities of the property - Id probably just book the caravan park with the cost of this place as it was.

Thankyou for taking the time to review your stay with us. We do appreciate all reviews. Firstly the accommodation we offer are not "Dongas" but are purpose built Cabins which are advertised on the 2 booking platforms we use as Spacious Boutique Style Cabins or Bungalows situated in a rural setting. We do take pride in the presentation of our property for our guests and as such we do indeed water the garden and surrounding grass areas during the day.
Secondly from our perspective there was no communication or technical issue with your check in process. 2 days prior to your arrival you contacted us via the booking site you used to book your accommodation and requested a third person join your booking. You were advised that the cabins were designed for two adults only and that we did not offer additional beds or bedding for extra guests nor did we permit swags or mattresses on the floor in the cabins or outside the cabins. You were also advised your third person was welcome to stay and could book our caravan which was available on the same booking platform for the date you had booked your stay. We received no response or additional booking for your additional person and assumed your third person decided not to join you. It is somewhat disappointing you seen me as 'inflexible and saw an opportunity to make extra money' when you arrive with three people for your stay with us. After discussing your options which were (1) forfeit your booking and stay elsewhere that could accommodate three people in a room or (2) your additional person could book the caravan. Yes we did offer the caravan at a substantially discounted price which we did not have to do' so I do not see how this was inflexible especially when the booking platforms we use clearly state the maximum number of guests permitted in the cabins and caravan - which is 2. We would respectively suggest when you are next booking accommodation you check how many guests are staying with you and book appropriate accommodation that meets your requirements

Quiet Stay in well equipped cabin in garden setting - great hosts
An ideal boutique stay in a quiet tropical garden setting as a base to explore Litchfield Park.
A well appointed cabin with well equipped kitchenette and bathroom in well maintained pretty tropical garden with a plunge pool. Lorna and Lee were great hosts who went the extra yard to make our stay a thoroughly enjoyable one. Extras in the fridge and great advice gave us a helped us have a wonderful Litchfield Park experience. A great place for a couple to stay in a restful setting.

Great friendly spot just near Litchfield
Lovely friendly accommodation. We stayed in the caravan which is perfectly set up like a little cabin! The 2 cabins had already been booked.
We stayed for 2 nights and slept perfectly. Lorna and Lee were delightful and helpful hosts with heaps of excellent tips for places to eat and where to go in Litchfield.
Great value if you want to spend more than 1 day at Litchfield, which we highly recommend as there is a lot to see!

Bush luxury cabins experience
A wonderful quiet setting on a well maintained inviting and green lawned property accessible to the park, clean cabins king size bed and with amenities for a bbq and swim. Wake to black cockatoo, kookaburras and many more birds. Star gaze around the fire pit and relax.
