Great little hotel motel

I originally was staying at the ibis styles , I regret not staying at Mandala from the beginning. Great little hotel , well priced. Extremely clean rooms and awesome beds and linen , had the best sleep. I was in row 4 so away from the highway where it was quiet. The staff were fantastic even though I was a walk in booking. They offer a really nice room service menu also delivered to your door via golf buggy.
The only thing I would recommend adding to the room is a usb charging point, and better block out blinds as the walkway lights remain on all night and shine through. I will definitely be staying here again for my next visit .

Staff shortages should not effect the services of the guests!

We have been coming to the Mandala Ace hotel for many years. It has always been very good and always love coming to the ACE.
Unfortunately this time we had to contend with 3 disappointments: upon arrival we had to wait for just about an hour as our room was not ready until 3 pm! That interfered with one of my appointments I had in Albany.
Then when we returned on the Tuesday evening, the room was `icy-cold' and after searching in every `nook and cranny' of the room the control for the heater could not be located. Upon phoning the emergency number a friendly lady dropped off a little fan heater which thankfully warmed up the room quite quickly.
Then the following day we received a phone-call from Linda, saying that due to staff shortages, our breakfast for the following morning was cancelled.
HOPEFULLY, these problems can be resolved so that our next stay will be problem free' again.

Albany Accomodation ....as good as !!!!

The Staff were very helpful and friendly!
The Buffet Breakfast was delicious and well presented!
*** Unfortunately the Chef was unwell and we missed our Restaurant Dinner and 2nd Complimentary Breakfast !!
The accomodation was comfortable and well presented!
Overall ..... HAPPY !!

Great little place for a 2 night stay. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Albany and for us the location was good. Quite clean and great parking right outside the room. We didn’t use the restaurant so can’t comment on that. The only thing that is perplexing is there is a tea towel next to the glasses, but no where to wash them unless you use the bathroom sink and then no ammenities to wash, just found that a little strange. Should we be washing the glasses and putting them back or leaving for housekeeping and then if you do want to re-use a glass, wash in bathroom with no detergent?? Just my observation and we would stay again.

Clean, Cozy, and Convenient Stay

I had a good stay at Mandala Ace Albany. The room was clean and cozy, and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The motel is centrally located, so it’s easy to get to everything. Even though it’s near the road, it was surprisingly quiet and pleasant. The rooms are a bit older, but for what we paid, everything was really good. Would happily stay again!
