Oasis in the Desert

This place is amazing. We absolutely loved our 3 nights staying in the upstairs suite that had its own bedroom, bathroom, balcony and sitting room.
It was a wonderful place to relax in each evening after big days of exploring the McDonnell Ranges.
Everything was spacious and so clean. It’s a beautiful house with so many different spaces to choose to relax in. There was so much room for everyone in the communal areas, we loved the fire place.
I also felt very safe here, it was 4kms out of town in a nice neighbourhood with a great outback view. It was quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast was incredible, so much delicious fresh food that you can cook up any way you choose. Then lovely Helen comes and does all your dishes! Helen is a wonderful host.
I can’t imagine there is any better place to stay in Alice Springs, it was hard to leave!

Quiet, comfortable and the best breakfast ever!

We have been travelling for 6 weeks and Wilmots is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. We felt at home from the start and enjoyed the comfort of the house and the hospitality of Helen and Ian. The breakfast is exceptional and leaves nothing to be desired. The location is quiet and a little out of the way, so a rental car is worthwhile. If you want to treat yourself to comfort and peace in Alice, you should check in at Wilmots. Note: Queen-size bed (approx. 150cm)

Fantastic B&B

Ian and Helen were excellent hosts, providing us with all the information we needed and answering questions before we arrived and Ian was very welcoming and made us feel at home immediately with a tour of the house and facilities available to us.
Our room was very comfortable consisting of the bedroom, another room with sofa and desk which was very handy and the bathroom. Everything was very clean and nicely furnished and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast in the morning was amazing with many options to choose from like coffee, tea, juice, meusli, fresh fruits, yoghurt, toast, bacon, eggs, tomatoes for cooking and much more, and to top it off Ian and Helen were there to look after things as well as have a chat and offer helpful local information for our trip.
We really enjoyed our stay, wouldn't hesitate to come again and highly recommend it to others.

Wonderful find that we hope to return to one day!

Fantastic stay- we had a lovely room with a spa bath ensuite and our own little living room. The B&B’s main lounge however was shared and very nice along with the fantastically well stocked kitchen that we could cook up whatever we liked in.
Then there was an amazing outdoor space with a pool for those hot days. So much room to be on your own or enjoy time with other guests.
With great hosts, yummy breakfasts and comfy beds and aircon rooms you really could do much better than this!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast in Alice Springs

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base for an organised coach trip to the Uluru-kata Tjuta national park. Great spacious accommodation comprising lounge, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. The host, Helen. was very welcoming, flexible and helpful. Breakfast was self catering with excellent range of provisions made available for a continental and cooked breakfast. Self catering facilities were available for lunch and evening meal. Additionally, a washing machine was available for use which was greatly appreciated as we were 2 weeks into our travels. If you have your own transport then this is an ideal base for exploring the Alice Springs area and beyond. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.
