Great to attend here

Went here for some morning tea drinks. I had a Bundaberg Ginger Beer. The size of this area was impressive. I wasn't staying at this hotel so it was great that I was still allowed to dine here despite not being a hotel guest. As well as morning tea drinks, I also dined here for dinner one night. I liked that there were lots of TVs in the restaurant that were broadcasting live sport such as the Big Bash Cricket League and the Australian Open. The range of menu items was huge and we ordered Hawaiian Pizza, Seafood Pizza and Fries. The pizzas were delicious and I thought the anchovy flavour was particularly strong. When I was there, you read the menu, decide what you want, then go up to the counter to place the order. The wait staff were also kind enough to take a photo of me and my family members there. There was a lively atmosphere and it was a pretty full restaurant.

Expensive & No idea about food allergies

A $22 bottle of wine is $65 here, unbelievable. Gluten free Celiac your staff need better training about food allergies. As for table service, didn’t appreciate having plates removed from table while some of our group still eating. Won’t be back.

Definitely overrated and overpriced for everybody, NOT happy

Just the cost of a beers is out of control $10.80c for a schooner of beer Great northern and The most tasty less, seafood pizza that I have ever had for $32, you can get better from a little take away pizza and cheaper I'm a local to Bargara beach hotel and I will not be back at all no family or friends. Pick your game up sunshine not great for you and the locals

Not value for money

The food is very average, we ordered steak well done with a side of vegetable and a sauce. One of the steaks was pink inside not well done and the vegetables consisted of cauliflower and broccoli, horrible.
Try the Bowls Club way better food and a lot more friendly environment.

Rude service, staff lie about manager being available.

Extremely disappointing experience with both Booking.com and the property staff.
I attempted to resolve an issue promptly, calling the very next morning as soon as phone lines opened, only to be met with unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly rude responses. At no point was there any effort to provide a reasonable solution — instead, I was spoken to with a tone that felt more money-driven than customer-focused.
To make matters worse, I was told the manager was unavailable, only to later be informed that the person I had spoken to *was* in fact the manager — a clear contradiction that felt dishonest and unprofessional.
I never even stayed at the property, yet my money was taken without any attempt at fairness or understanding. The lack of care, transparency, and basic courtesy was truly appalling.
I would strongly advise against making a booking here if you value integrity, good service, or your hard-earned money.
