Nice and quiet

This is a lovely quiet small motel. I was attending a function across the road so it was very convenient. Very friendly owner and lovely surroundings. Highly recommended stay.. Not expensive although they don't have breakfast. Toaster & microwave supplied as well as ironing board & iron. There is also a pool for warm weather. A lovely experience overall!

Not impressed

Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner Gary who was super friendly.
First impression- door to the room very tatty, needed repainting a year or more back.
Inside was a kitchenette, table and 2 chairs. Also a desk and chair, sofa and bed. The open wardrobe very spacious unlike the teeny tiny bathroom. Several problems - large cobweb under the table , lighting very poor and no toilet roll holder in the bathroom.
This was a self contained room, complete with a sign saying the rooms are not serviced daily.
Never encountered that before - never again

Generalised Fun

On arrival we were met my the owner Garry he had a very pleasant smile and showed us to our room and pointed out the best way to park as the Motel was going to be quite busy that weekend as of a 2 Weddings being held in this small town of Barham . The room we had, had a full kitchen no oven but a Microwave. The bathroom was roomy and clean The towels were soft and did not scratch Plenty of hanging space and a place for folded items. There is a bus from the Club-Barham which will pick you up and take you to the Club. Please ask Garry about pick up times

A pleasant stay

We arrived early in the week and were very fortunate to be given the room at the end that has a small kitchenette. The room was a little dated, but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had chosen our restaurant for dinner, but during a late afternoon walk went into the local Foodworks supermarket to purchase some fruit, and saw that they had readymade hot lasagne for sale. So we ordered one to be kept for us, purchased some vegetables and had a delicious dinner in our room.
If you plan on doing this, preorder the lasagne. They had sold out by the time I returned for mine at 6pm.

Lovely quiet Motel in friendly town

We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We had a self contained unit with plenty of space and a very comfy bed. The local hotel and club offer great meals but to be able to cook for ourselves was excellent. Everything we needed was right there, a visit to the local IGA provided the supplies we needed at very reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.
