Service and meals were very good

The Tocumwal Hotel, still known by locals as The Palms have done a wonderful job with their upgrading. We went for lunch on a Tuesday, it was relatively quiet so service was good. I’m not sure what the dinner menu is like but the lunch menu was limited but adequate. The Caesar salad I had was good and my husband ordered half a Parma, how great is it that they offer half serves, perhaps another take on the Seniors meals, and he enjoyed his lunch also. No complaints here, so definitely recommend. We ate outside on their deck area, very pleasant on such a lovely warm day.

Sadly been let go

Used to love coming to this pub on our annual visits. Not sure what’s happened but it’s sadly seen better days. Looks like an attempted Reno in bar but it’s cold and sterile. The outside beer garden is overgrown with weeds and needs some TLC quick smart
Meal was basic and ok but hopefully someone can bring this back to its former glory.

Great food and lovely outdoor area

Great food, atmosphere and service in a lovely old fashioned style Hotel. We enjoyed chatting to the friendly Publican and will definitely be back next time we’re traveling through. Tocumwal is such a pretty town right on the river, perfect place to stop for a break.

Would not go there again.

Stopped off on our way home from Deni. There were 7 of us. Meals were mixed up. We waited one hour and 50 minutes and several meal choices bought to us before they actually gave us what we ordered. By the time two of us got our meals the others had eaten and were on their way home. My husband ordered a mixed grill. The sausage was raw. The steak was boot leather. The salad and chips were fine. I ordered fish tails, salad and chips. The others in our party got Parmis and they were so overcooked the meat was dry and bread crumps burnt. I’d say deep fried. Would not recommend a QUICK lunch here.
