Excellent motel with prime location

Excellent motel which was extremely clean with an amazing location. Close to shops, restaurants and right across from the beach. Amazing holiday spot with no shortage of things to do whether it be fishing, sightseeing or relaxing with your partner, family, friends and children.

DISASTER STAY

If I Could give no star I would. Appalling room and kitchenette cabinets. Light over bench flickered continuously, kettle worked some of the time. No selection of cutlery, just basic spoons, knives and forks. No sharp knives at all. Couch converted to a bed and could feel the springs. Bathroom had no door and no flywire door on balcony. NO SMOKE DETECTOR in room.

Highly recommended

A clean, tidy motel with friendly and helpful managers. Situated in an excellent location i.e: close to local restaurants, cafes (within walking distance) across the road from the beach which is a great family friendly spot for relaxing or even fishing.

Unorganised and outdated

I'd like to leave a positive review but sadly can't, we arrive late to find that the room I had booked had somehow been confused (third party booking site) and we ended in a twin share room not the Queen room I'd booked, motel is booked out we can't change your room, we can offer $10 discount on second night we had booked (2 night stay), would have liked more rectification or even for the motel manager to seem concerned
, television didn't work but was replaced, rooms although clean are very dated paint peeling in and around shower, shower curtain stained. lastly very noisy rooms, can hear the shower running and toilet flushing from room to the left, and the laughter and crystal clear conversation of the people in the room to the right

Comfortable and clean motel.

Excellent place to stay in Batehaven, within walking distance to shops (bakery, post office, IGA, fish n chips, etc...) and across the road from beach with free parking and wifi. Most important things when staying in a motel are a comfy bed and great shower and I give this place full points for that, super comfy bed and a powerful shower. Rooms felt very clean with many new/updated features, making a comfortable stay. Recommended and can't wait to stay again next time we're in the area
