Our favourite "Staycation" property in Brisbane due to large spacious rooms, awesome vibe and so much on offer nearby.
Special call out to Grace from the Front Office Team who always goes the extra mile to make us welcome and comfortable.

Ok stay at crystalbrook

Was in Brisbane for a business trip which was arranged by employer. Employer had sent an email a few weeks before advising who would be staying, I was at a meeting until 6pm but my wife was with me and she tried to check in at 3pm. They wouldn’t let her check in even though she told them name of business etc and had to wait until the director Of our business called them to find out what was going on. Not really good enough when they had all the info 2 weeks prior, so obviously an issue with communication and booking system. Also was a drama with the parking about providing number plate, not on booking. Then once we were checked in we get a call about 6.30pm saying we need to provide a credit card, went to reception to be told sorry no they don’t now. All abit unprofessional!
The room was nice, but let down by check in and very very slow service in the cafe where we had breakfast
Pre paid. Both days took 20 mins for someone to take order and another 20 for food. To slow when you are due to go to meetings and tell them that you have limited time.

Great place just not a fan of our art in the room

I liked this hotel. It has a moody vibe, fantastic location next to Felon's and other eateries. Easy walk along the river to the city. We had one night here and it was good. Bed very comfy. We had a nature wall room which was kinda cool.
So my only qualms were - while the art is very cool I was disappointed that we'd been appointed the Heath Ledger room, with honestly kind of spooky artwork - him as the Joker and also a really large portrait of him looking kind of... troubled.
It's not a great mood when you're trying to have a holiday.
I tried to ignore it but later on when I returned to the room late at night, it really creeped me out. I wish I had asked for a different room but I didn't want to be difficult.
I think the hotel should consider keeping the Heath Ledger art to the foyer only and restyling any rooms that feature this art. My husband said it was a dealbreaker and he wouldn't want to return. But I liked the place enough that I will ask for a 'safe art' room next time!

The hotels location is excellent. A short riverside walk to the cbd. Or you can take the ferry to go further afield. The rooms are modern and quiet. Breakfast is lovely, but it can get busy. A 30 second walk to some great restaurants and bars

Pool was amazing and overall location and views were well worth every dollar spent. Was very reasonably priced as well.
