cost effective option for inner northern Melbourne

Stayed here for one night while visiting Melbourne for a concert. We chose this motel based on its cost, inner city location and proximity to public transport. Bed was comfortable, water pressure in the shower was good. The room was a bit rough around the edges and could do with some upgrades, but overall does the job for a one night stay.

What's not to like!

Excellent location. Comfortable rooms. Reasonable rates. Friendly staff. This is our go-to accommodation when staying in Melbourne, and has been for a number of years. Proximity to tram and train makes this a great option for meeting up with friends and rellies.

Sink was dirty. No floor towel or face washers. Bathroom door doesn't close. Toilet roll holder was hanging on for dear life. Chair was stained heavily.
