South West 60th Birthday getaway

A great location and base for our South West getaway. The lady at reception (I’m sorry I cannot remember her name) was very helpful at check in and out . The room was lovely and comfortable. The team at the Basalt restaurant were brilliant and looked after us really well.
Thank you for the recommendation of Gilt Edge Chauffeurs for the wine tour.
We will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay and Good Location

We recently stayed here and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, with stunning views that made our stay even more enjoyable.
The customer service was outstanding. Special thanks to Sandrine, the Front Office Manager, for being responsive and professional, and to Bryan for his friendliness and helpfulness throughout our stay.
Breakfast was also excellent, with attentive staff. A special mention to the supervisor on duty, who kindly arranged yogurt for my 10-month-old nephew. Her warmth and attentiveness were greatly appreciated.
The only minor feedback would be that sound insulation between adjoining rooms could be improved, as conversations and noise from the neighboring room were quite noticeable at times.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality.

The room was good. Shower recess a little cramped. The staff are wonderful.
Breakfast was excellent. We stay here often. Suits us perfectly.

Great place to stay

Just love it here
We had a room by the pool, spa and sauna suited us as we used the facilities and its winter but was perfect
Dinner at the hotel was nice as well
Close walking distance to town and cafes

Not happy

The heater didn’t work. Couldn’t flush the toilet properly. I had a shower and a few drops of water was on floor so I put face washer on tiles and wiped it to dry so wasn’t a slip hazard. The face washer was filthy. I could not believe the dirt that came off the bathroom floor. I have a photo if you provide me with email to send. If I had seen this the night before we would have left straight away it was discussing. This is the second time we have stayed but will not be coming back after this experience.
