My idea of heaven

Not a review kind of person but Sun Ranch inspires gushing. Went with a group of stressed out girlfriends and all left little blissed out kittens. From the sound healing to the most spectacular alfresco lunch, horseriding around the property to the ice bath/sauna, from the whiskey bar to just hanging on the deck of our cabins taking in the panoramic vista… the whole thing is aesthetically awe inspiring and filled with excellent vibes, with every little detail thought through. You feel cooler just being there.

Nice but need improvements!

Stayed over the weekend in the Barn room and pool room. Beautiful location, house with a view. However there are some issues. No toileteries included in the bathroom. Only shampoo, conditioner and body was. There is no cotton buds, shower caps etc. No TV in the barn. No aircon in the bedrooms in the barn, only one aircon in the dining area. Breakdast was very limited, would be good to have a few more choices such as nuts, cheese, cottage cheese , berries. Coffee was not tasty at all. Breakfast only until from 7.30am to 9.30am, meaning people had to rush to have breaky . Sauna can only warm up to 50C, that's not a sauna. Pool water was too cold.

Very Relaxed Vibe - excellent customer service

Stayed here for 2 nights in a pool room. Nice comfortable bed and big bathroom. Access to the pool from our room was a real treat - shame it was cold and had a pool cleaner pipe across the top.
Limited but very nice breakfast. Only a few dishes are available for dinner when restaurant closed...which is most of the time.
Lovely pool up on the hill, but again was freezing cold and pool cleaner pipes across the top.
2 days was enough.
P.s. watch out for the inquisitive carpet snakes - keep doors/screens closed.
Excellent customer service - only a few staff members but very friendly and helpful.

One to put on your holiday list!!

The best bed, beats and breakfast you won’t find on any other ranch anywhere. Sun Ranch is a dreamy location perfectly placed between Bangalow and Byron, not that you would know as you are surrounded by private acreage that is truly beautiful. We stayed in the barn which had everything we could need. Cozy, comfortable and a really cool country design vibe. LOVED the sauna. LOVED the lair. Danced the night away, drank great wines by the fire. Will be back.

Stay of all stays!

The stay of all stays, SUN RANCH totally delivered! Our family found a home in The Joker - one of the barns on the ridge line overlooking the property. Everything about this space was so beautiful, the finishes were beyond, the beds and linens and pillows were so so comfy, the natural wines, the food, the views, the fitout, the details...wow...all definitely something to write home about! We'll see you again cowgirls, and until then we'll be ranch-dreaming!
