Great staff customer service

Friendly staff and great location but the loud garbage truck emptying bins at 0500 needs to be addressed.

Excellent Service, perfect location

The hotel team were helpful. The location of the hotel is impressive; you've got pretty much everything within walking distance. Even if you are not staying in this hotel, I strongly recommend visiting the rooftop restaurant; the view and the service are amazing.

Did not meet expectations

The room was VERY basic, no window, I had a four day stay booked, but had a change of plans and no longer required the 4th night, the hotel refused a refund despite 72 hours notice. Because it wasn’t notified before the booking started.

As previously advised, your reservation was booked on a negotiated rate, which is subject to a 30-day cancellation policy.
As the booking fell within this cancellation period, we were unable to amend or refund the unused night.
In addition, the room type reserved for your stay was selected by your booker, who was aware of the room features and inclusions at the time the reservation was made.

Overall a very good stay. I arrived around 10:30am bc and staff stored my bags for me and then called at 1:30pm when my room was ready. The room was clean and well sized with a view over The Espanade and lagoon pool (which unfortunately was closed two days before I arrived). The Manager was kind enough to get me access to an adjacent hotels pool which was appreciated. Breakfast was included in my room rate and was adequate and given it was provided in the rooftop area was very nice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. My only issue was only one lift at the property and at times it was very slow. On one day it actually broke down which meant having to walk up and down stairs. Shame about the lagoon pool but alas.
