Very handy hotel and close to all my business appointments. Staff very friendly and courteous. Roof top bar has a great view but could do with a bit of heating in winter.

Fab views and pool-aircon needs overhaul

Professional reception and close to light rail and cbd. Comfortably appointed rooms( 2 tvs in king bed with a single).Next time Id book a balcony room as no airflow in our room was a problem. Aircon struggled overnight-no windows opened.But wow! the -view over Canberra from breakfast room is stunning-also from Howling Moon Bar -floor above.After a day of sightseeing having v long heated pool-15m? mostly to ourselves was fabulous!

The room felt modern, clean, and comfortable. As a solo traveller staying for a single night I'm glad I chose the Rex hotel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and restaurant were fantastic for a drink and a bite to eat, but it did get pretty busy there later in the evening (Saturday night). The room had a modern bathroom, comfortable bed and basic tea/coffee (instant) plus free to air TV. Also a nice little balcony overlooking the mountain views. Parking availability is an issue and I had to find street parking, but I think this is an issue for most Canberra accommodation, and the street parking was close, safe, and free.

I have stayed multiple times here. Usually very good. This time the shower would not stay in place as it has been installed incorrectly. I told reception and they assured me that they will amend the situation, but did NOT. I will not stay here any more.
Comfy bed, nice hotel.
