We’ve stayed here a couple of times. The rooms are average size, bed was comfortable and room clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Make sure you get your Mantra right

There are two Mantra Hotels in Canberra, so be careful when you make your booking. I had appointments in the CBD/Civic so intended to book the Mantra Northbourne, very convenient to the CBD. However, I accidentally booked at the Macarthur, about 2.5 km up Northbourne Ave.
My mistake, and I was able to get over it quickly. I stayed 2 nights and found the Macarthur excellent in all ways. Check-in friendly and efficient and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Everything worked! Restaurant menu was fairly limited but that did not cause problems for me.

Room was clean but stains on carpet. Left key card in slot on wall so computer gear would charge and cleaner took Key card when they left.

Stayed here on 20th may,they took $1oo dollars room bond ,1st june its still showing pending on my acct,rang hotel and was told it should have dissapeared on check out,wanted a screen shot of my acct,dont know how to do that,down a $100,never stay here again i will rewrite it when my $100 is returned to my account
