The room and location were great, including an amazing strong shower. Studio was small but sufficient. No guarantee for a parking space. We had to park on the street. Reception was ok - a very small space, that becomes very crowded very quickly. Our check in person needed to take a class in customer service. He was a bit jaded about the whole thing, spoke from what seemed like an script, in a monotone voice, bored and couldn’t care less if we didn’t get parking, or when I asked if we could get a higher room. I wondered if they were using AI, but then realised AI would be friendlier, and more interested in guests’ wellbeing. But overall, the hotel was fantastic. Apart from our uninspired check in dude.

Disappointing stay

Room was dirty, bedding configuration not as requested, toilet wouldn’t flush properly, desk staff often away from desk.

Clean hotel, small rooms minimal seating area and no dining area or table.
Great kitchenette.
Issues with TV not working correctly, reported on seperate days but not fixed due to remote support being in Sydney.

Great location: eateries and bars nearby, walking distance to museums and galleries, public transport nearby (on the bus route to and from the airport, close to Lake Burley Griffin and Mount Ainslie, and an easy 25 minute walk into the CBD

Pet urine everywhere

The first room they put us in was 304. The bedroom and living room rugs were absolutely soaked in pet urine. It stank and there were visible circles of urine on the rugs. The back of the bedroom door was covered in scratches from a pet’s nails. They moved us to room 404 which had pet urine on the wall near the entry hall where a dog had obviously lifted their leg on the way out the door also a urine stain on the carpet. The washing/dryer also needs maintenance. Would not recommend staying here.
We discussed the problems in 304 with two of the front desk staff. They didn’t seem overly concerned but someone clearly knew it was an issue as all windows were open when we entered the room in an attempt to air out the stench.
