Ok for 1 or 2 nights to sleep.

This place was clean and well equipped. The main bed was just ok but I'm sure some would love it. The bunks are awful. The floor was terrible, the lino tiles were all lifting off and sharp. I feel like the place is just being maintained and the owners dont really care. We stayed here 12 years ago and things haven’t changed. This could be a really nice park.

Very noisy and tired holiday park

We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 other couples in 2 cabins and a powered site. Cabins and powered site were close to the main highway and very noisy. Lots of permanent residents and those sites need tidying up and are too close to other cabins. We couldn’t open our cabin curtains because it looked straight into a permanent residents area. Our 2 cabins had a connecting verandah with not enough lighting to eat on the verandah. There was a step down in the middle of the verandah which was not marked to prevent injury. Wooden steps were rickety and car parking space was very tight. Our cabin was pretty basic, not very spacious and needs modernising. Not enough crockery, saucepans and cooking dishes. Air con/ heater had a stale smell when turned on.Powered site was right beside the highway and in a small gully so when it rained the outside awning mat was flooded. BBQ area was being used as a building site so there were tradesmen tools, wheelbarrow and bags of cement in the BBQ area. The whole park has areas where building materials have been left lying around - gives the appearance of a scrap yard. Website states the park is a “short stroll to the beach” - but you have to put your life at risk getting across an extremely busy 4 lane highway first. Locals that we spoke to didn’t have a very high opinion of this park which is pretty sad. On a positive note, the staff we dealt with were friendly. Would not recommend this park to others or stay here again.

Unhygienic, unsafe, unresponsive owner.

Faeces all over the amenities, please do not stay it is unhygienic and unsafe. I booked a powered site for 3 nights. The first night the amenities were filthy, faeces was in the hand basins, children's bath, in each of the 4 shower cubicles and all over the floor. It was too late to book somewhere else so we stayed one night with the hope staff would clean the facilities in the morning. To my pleasant surprise, they had cleaned the amenities early the next morning. However, when I went in for a shower before midday each cubicle still had faeces in it. I went to reception where the staff kindly stated they would clean it again and set down rodent traps. I returned to the amenities after 5 pm to find after 2 cleans by the cleaners there was still a lot of faeces on the floor and shower tap, see pictures below post cleaning. After this discovery, my partner and I contacted after hours and informed them we needed to check out and we requested a refund. We were informed that reception and staff on site have no authority to give refunds and that I must email the owner directly with my complaint and request. Both myself and reception staff have emailed said owner multiple times over a 3-week period without a reply to either of us. The staff even attempted to phone while I was on-site but the owner's phone was turned off. I find the owner's treatment of staff and customers appalling. His park is run down, unhygienic and unfit for purpose. Had I known how filthy it was I would have never booked our stay. There are many cleaner safer caravan parks in Coffs for an extra $8, do yourself and favour and avoid at all costs.

Budget accommodation but not budget price.

Lady at reception was lovely and very welcoming. We stayed in a cabin and paid $110 for one night. Definitely not worth that. The park itself is a bit rough and ragged and could use some major updating. The car park next to cabin is tiny and we barely fit our van in so parked up behind our cabin instead. Couch was dirty with stain on it. It did have good kitchen facilities though. Tiny tv mounted way up on the wall. No blind or thick curtain on kitchen window so at night anyone can see in including the people in cabin next door, preferring my privacy I had to place a towel over the window. Budget accommodation should have been budget price. Probably wouldn’t go back there again unless it had a major revamp.

Truly Disgusting. DON’T BOOK HERE

Where to begin! So old it should be bulldozed… Disgusting, tiny tiny cabins, horribly
old furniture, omg…absolutely reeked of Detol to thebpoint where my eyes burned…
except the bed linens, which stunk of dogs. Noisy!
Give this dump a miss…even if it means sleeping in your car! Wish I had!
