Coonawarra home away from home

Just perfect. After a long day on the road it is so nice to open the door to a spacious, comfortable, clean, and well maintained room.
The hosts are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are great value in a fantastic location; the heart of the Coonawarra wine region.
Each room has two doors, the second opens on to a huge central lawn area.
We were just passing through, but we’re already thinking about coming back for a wine tasting holiday.

Great place to stay

Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Hosts were very helpful about the local area. We will definitely stay again when we next visit.

Get away break

The motel is dated but clean and tidy but the big surprise was a continental breakfast.
When visiting the Coonawarra you must go to Patricks of Coonawarra, their platters are amazzing with a glass of wine included in the price.

Here for work but would return for play

Came here for a work trip and I was really impressed by thr cleanliness and space in this room. We had two door openings one to the car, the other to the expansive lawn. We were next to the check in office and the staff were very professional and helpful. Gave us a map to the wineries within walking distance of the accommodation. Everything was as expected and clean and Iwould definitely recommend those place if youre exploring the wineries as there is a walking trail in reac of this motel. Sadly i was working so only had the chance to visit one of the wineries because of work commitments. Staff were very friendly and helpful at reception. I love this area and I would recommend this accommodation, the old school brick and tall ceilings set it apart from your average motel room. Cudos guys.
