Great little park
I stayed in a king cabin. It was exactly as shown in the pictures on the website. Despite a few cosmetic patch jobs, being an older cabin, and a lack of a full length mirror I had a very pleasant stay. The cabin was clean and tidy. The king bed was extremely comfortable with crisp clean sheets. Good pressure in the shower but note it is a very small moulded type shower in a small bathroom but fine for me. The park was well maintained. The pool was clean and lovely. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect. Walking distance to beach and town and Coles supermarket just up the road. This is an older park and there’s a few little things they need to update but nothing I found excessive or that made my stay negative. I would not hesitate at all to stay here again.

The cabin was clean and warm. Having a TV in the bedroom as well as living area and heating was all good. All important for the cold winters day that we stayed. The mattress was ok to good but we are a little fussy having bad backs. The staff at the office were pleasant and happy.

2nd time we stayed in the same room #77. We enjoyed our stay.
The only struggle we had since the first time we stayed is the internet. If they can make it faster would be excellent.
LWe had to connect the internet to our phone to run our online business smoothly.
The only thing we used property wifi is for my daughter to watch her starwars movie on the tv. The rest we used our phone data. If wifi can be improved it will be much happier.
Perhaps the router where at the office and our room is quite far.
Other than wifi, it was excellent. Love the location as always and the room we stayed. Will stay in the same place again next holiday. Thank you.

Phillip Island and Cowes great. Location of Amaroo Park excellent but the accommodation not good.
Due to the photos, the reviews and the location we booked a stay for 5 nights at Amaroo Park in Cowes. The young man at the desk (Taylor) was friendly and helpful. Aside from the very front of the premises where the gardens and smaller apartments look neat, the rest of the property is very run down. The apartment that we booked, a 'Premier apartment' was half the size of a normal unit, as it turned out, but well appointed and self contained. It was suitable really only for a single person - or a couple for 1 night. We had already for 5 nights and the accommodation was claustrophobic and overpriced we believe - at almost $700. We only spent some evenings in the apartment, as we were very busy during our stay. The rooms were clean - but no doona cover. And the very bare essentials for cutlery and crockery, for 2 people. 2 towels were provided and no face washers - we had to keep asking for clean towels. The garden surrounds were uninviting and very poorly kept. Many of the units rooves had grass growing in the gutters due to tree leaf build-up. The property overall looks very tired, dated and the maintenance is poor. Compared to other accommodation places we saw in Cowes this place could best be described as 'Bogan-ville' and the only reason we would rate this 3 out of 5 stars and not 2, is due to the staff. The restaurant (Mon Dieu) adjoining the property was most enjoyable also. Compared to other places we have stayed at over the years, for price and value, this one sadly is a NO go.

No issues, all clean and friendly. Only note is that upon check in we were asked for a credit card or photo of a credit card which I didn’t have nor did if feel comfortable to provide. We were not informed about this at booking
