A Charming and Thoughtful Stay at Tingle Cottage

We had a wonderful weekend at Gum Grove Chalets, staying in the beautifully styled Tingle Cottage. Meegan and Brett have done an incredible job turning the space into a whimsical but modern nod to Australian heritage.
The cottage had everything we needed for a cosy and relaxing getaway. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the newly refurbished kitchen was a dream to cook in. Our kids especially loved the collection of toys and DVDs—it was a lovely touch that made us all feel at home.
Overall, this was a truly memorable stay. We’ve already recommended Gum Grove to friends and family and can’t wait to return ourselves. Thank you again, Meegan and Brett!

Overpriced and unprofessional

We stayed in this place in school holidays with our two kids . Place is Good chalets are good only the problem the owners are stingy not fully self contained kitchen
Dish washing liquid is water small peace of cloth not enough saucepans no exhaust fan. No use of writing this so many people has complained but the owners are not taking care about it. I booked this place months before final Day we we were on the way to Denmark owner was calling me and telling if you are not happy find another pl we are happy to refund money. Very very Unprofessional
According to this price not enough facilities. Over priced
Never com back again and recommend to anyone

Basic and a bit overpriced

Chalet was small and basic which was to be expected. Went with 2 adults 2 kids. Glad we didn't eat in any evenings as would have been cramped around the 4 seater table. Surface was clean however ledges,eaves,doors were all covered in spiders, flies and cobwebs. Had dishwashing liquid with cloths but the dishwasher liquid was basically water. Had to scrub the pans and plates before using and wouldn't use pots for breakfast as they were old and filthy.
Was ok to stay for the 2 nights but feel like it was a little overpriced for what we actually got.

Great weekend away

We stayed over this past Easter long weekend and will definitely be coming back. Owners are very friendly, helpful people great to talk to and provide local knowledge. Our chalet was very tidy and nicely presented. The beds were very comfortable to sleep in. Located just outside of town with the feeling of being deep in the bush. Very lovely we all had such a great time. Thank you :)

Short break

We stayed in Karri. Basic but clean. Everything you need. Bed was comfy. Shower was fantastic rain shower head. Water was hot. TV worked. Good phone reception set in a lovely environment with tree all around and the added bonus having our dog with us. Very reasonably priced too. We will be back.
