Fabulous two night stay

Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful host, very clean and tidy rooms and no noise. The service given by Gary is 100% from the time we walked into the Bed and breakfast Gary made tea and coffee was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. On our second afternoon we were relaxing in the shared lounge area and Gary had made scones he offered to us along with his homemade jams and more tea and coffee. I would recommend a stay here to be top of anyone’s list.

Our stay at Ashdowns of Dover b&b

Ashdowns of dover b&b is a great place to rest your weary head off road parking great rooms Gary the host cooks a lovely breakfast to start you on your day exploreing the area there were 3 couples in our group and you couldn't ask for better service

What a wonderful place to stay!

We went as a group of 4 couples. Gary (our host) was amazing. He could not have been more helpful in making our stay a happy one. The location was great, the view down to the sheep in the paddock and beyond to the hill. The sheep were friendly. The breakfast was amazing. The best tomatoes (which we saw growing - OMG they were so good!) Cannot recommend highly enough.

What a great spot. It’s been a while since we stayed at a B&B so we were not sure what we would experience.
The owner was great, personal, friendly and with a lot of great tips about the area. Room was clean and well organised, with a well-stocked minibar.
The rest of the house was also well-kept and clean and the outside area was definitely the highlight with a Chimea, a paddock full of sheep and a nice little walk down to the river.
Great breakfast was served in the breakfast area overlooking the paddock.
Highly recommended.
