Poor service and not worth the money

From the moment we arrived, the service was unacceptable. The receptionist was openly rude and unwelcoming, including rolling her eyes when asked to assist. It was clear that helping guests was an inconvenience.
We had called the day before to confirm early access, a fan for the second bedroom, and a linen pack. None of this was ready. Despite arriving at around 4:30 pm, we were told the office was already closed, which was handled with an entirely inappropriate attitude.
A linen pack was eventually handed over reluctantly so we could make the bed ourselves. Three days into our stay, we still had not received the additional towel needed so everyone could shower.
It was 39 degrees on arrival and the fan in the cabin did not work. When I asked for it to be fixed, I was spoken to sharply and dismissively. An electrician was eventually sent, but only after further attitude.
Overall, the customer service was poor, basic requests were not met, and the experience was not worth the price

Check the sizes of the rooms when booking a cabin. No wardrobe for hanging clothes.

We love this place for a quiet getaway, the facilities, and the cabin having all the basic needs in the kitchen. Cabin 6 was a huge disappointment after staying in another cabin previously. The main bedroom was so small that we had to walk sideways down the wall to get in and out of the bed. Only one bedside table. No floorspace to put luggage. Small shower smelled mouldy. No room to walk into the toilet and close the door, which only JUST missed the toilet bowl. 2nd room with bunks was also very small.

Highly recommend this caravan park!

Friendly owners and staff helped make for an exciting short “camping” trip for us adults and our two young grandchildren. Close to the river for some special memories of catching fish too! Cabin was fresh and bright for us and a powered site right next door for the younger family’s camper van was a bonus.
