Don’t even consider it - it is a disgrace
The place was filthy. Dirty carpet with grease marks and under bed and corners not vacuumed with bandaid wrapping and a medication of some sort.
Under desk/dining table was a shelf that had a oile of dirt and dust suggesting not cleaned for months. I had to wipe all surfaces to remove dust before use.
Kettle was new but element covered in a white film.
Trying to use key to enter was almost impossible straining my hands badly and it took some time to get in. Shut door to see if I could exit but same problem that I consider to be dangerous if an emergency was required.
No security on the door - where a chain had once been - nothing.
Upon eventual entry I found the window winder on the floor!
All curtains needed a wash and ones in bathroom were torn.
Fridge was not very cold even being on high all night.
Main room-light over mirror did not work despite receptionist replacing tube. Another light tube was replaced.
Had to wash cups and spoons before use.
Tea, coffee, sugar and milk - coffee was like a brick, worse with the sugar and milk was 9 days past use by date.
Outside were rubbish bins overflowing and garden tired with a lawned area in need of a big tidy-up. Some motel towels that had been drying on the line, were on the ground when I arrived and dtill there when I left.
I was the only guest that night and I think that says it all.
Ordered a meal (fish and chips)to be picked up by me but it was delivered. Was freshly cooked by receptionist (she was there alone so had to do everything). Tasted fine but was so pale that suggested not long enough. The lettuce was limp and not crispy. Not surprising that restaurant was without diners.
There were other things that required a proper lean and/or repairs

We won't return
Bed was clean and comfortable
Room was grubby. Carpet was filthy. Switches were really dirty. Water temperature from shower come and went.
The door lock took a bit of working.
Untidy appearance on the exterior
Stayed for an event so had no choice. We won't be back
