Great food and accommodation

Just stayed at Dooleys Springsure Tavern & Motel with a group of mates for the Springsure Races and what a find.
The Irish hospitality is hard to beat — and I’m fairly sure you won’t find a colder wine or beer anywhere. The food was next level. The crumbed lamb cutlets I had on the first night were absolutely mind-blowing, and the garlic prawns were sensational (I hear you prawn in a country pub, but was a very pleasant surprise!).
I was seriously tempted to extend the trip just so I could work my way through the whole menu
Our rooms were spotless and the beds incredibly comfortable — exactly what we needed after a big day at the races.
Huge thanks to the whole team at Dooleys for making the weekend such a memorable one for all of us.

Now have found reason to overnight in Springsure in the future, used to previously just push through to the next time

Older style accommodations, Very good size room, air conditioner a box in the wall, not split system, still it functioned well enough for one of the hottest days this year. The restaurant had simple straight forward menu. Didn't offer a lot, but could tell the meals that came out of the kitchen where prepared to the satisfaction of all the diners. I hand Arlo steak medium, with mash, salad and mushroom sauce. Excellent

Terrible aircon

Nice enough accomodation however the aircon was woefully inefficient and pathways outside room covered in debris. Didn't get to try the tucker as there was a blackout and the only place to eat was down the road as they had their own generator.

Fair Dinkum Country Hospitality. Highly recommend calling in for a meal and a yak.

What a great night!
Zander picked us up in the courtesy bus and so we had a few beers met some of the locals. Had a bloody good laugh and got some great advice on our trip. Had the cheesy bacon garlic bread and Battered Barra Chips and Salad. It was delicious.
Courtesy bus back to camp! Awesome.

Best Rissoles Ever

We stayed 3 nights in Springsure and ate at the there main places in town. For my money, the Springsure Hotel Motel gets my vote. It is not too busy, staff are very friendly with a relaxed feel. The meals are basic but very tasty, I ordered the home made rissoles and they were great, even loved the pea's in the mash potatoes (the country way). It's very different to the other pub in town, but for me it's the most relaxed.
To the Gents's you will love the posters and signs in the men's toilets.
Note: If your woke, go else where as the hummer will have your in a crisis.
I will visit again.
