Good value motel in perfect location

I rate it as 5/5 for motels in that price range. It was as good a value as you find these days. Check in and out was hassle free. It's right on the main street but not noisy. There's a great Thai takeaway literally next door.
They had some nice little touches too that are often missing these days: free snack basket with some bottled water, kitchenette allowing some microwaving and ample plates and cutlery, shampoo etc provided, heater was in getting the room nice n cozy before I came in on a winter's evening.

Esk Motel

Great little motel which was perfectly placed to the rail trail. The host was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean modern and comfortable. Great to have a pet friendly motel in Esk. We will be back.

Very basic motel

I stayed for 2 nights but wouldn't stay there again. The bed was okay but the bathroom needs a good scrub. While the people either side in other rooms weren't noisy, the showers are loud. It felt a bit like student accomodation. It says no smoking in rooms but a man was smoking sitting outside of one of the rooms with smoke drifting along. Also it is on the main street which can be a bit noisy with trucks. Don't bother staying there.

Stay at your own peril

I was in the area for work and it had been booked through work not where we would usually stay as that was booked out. From the time I drove in I didn’t get a good feeling. It was worse inside. Just grotty. The sheets certainly did not look fresh or clean. Stains on the bed cover. The rumbling noise from other rooms when toilet flushing or showering was so loud you could not hear the tv.
Dirty ( from previous guest) towel hanging behind en-suite door.
As it was dark when I arrived and no other accomm available at that time I had no choice but to stay. ( I did consider staying in the car)
Was meant to be two nights but no way was I going back .

This place is the worst place me and my husband have statyed. DIRTY

We stayed here as we have friends in the are and went to the local club hotel they were fantastic but out stay at the ask motel was the filthiest place I have ever stayed at the floors the bed were stained there was pubic hair on the floor the shower we could not even use it was to dirty we slept on towels and was not happy as the rest of our stay was amazing in esk but this motel ruined it.
