Lovely park

RAC has clearly spent some money updating this park. Amenities are new and spotless. A lot of the powered sites have concrete slabs, some are still sand. Sites are spacious, well laid out, and some have a view of the ocean. Park is right across the road from the ocean, plenty of shade for summer and a walk into town.
Other parks in the town charge around the same price per night. I would choose this one hands down.

Don’t go there!

The worst RAC park, don’t go there! Very noisy with slamming gates and speed humps that make a lot of noise, car access gates are very noisy. They seem to place everyone around the noisy areas. Poor management.

Excellent but expensive (two-bedroom bay villa)

This was our first visit to Esperance and we highly recommend the RAC Holiday Park. We stayed in a two-bedroom Bay Villa #17 which faces onto the main street/beach. The cabin was very clean, well-appointed, with fresh decor and decent matresses. Check-in/out was smooth. Location: attractive landscaping, accessible paths, a nice beach out front, but it's not easy walking distance to any shops or town centre. The only reason we haven't given a rating of Excellent 5/5 is due to parking and affordability. There was only one carpark allocated to the unit, with no general carparking nearby. Our party had two cars so we were lucky the holiday park wasn't full; we used an empty carpark, otherwise the second car would have had to park a distance away (by the main reception area or outside on the street). We paid $1254 for 3 nights @ $418/night which included a discount for RAC members. Depending on the day/season, rates can vary from $344 to $595 per night. Given that Esperance is a long-haul drive from anywhere, most travellers with families would want to stay more than 3-4 nights and are restricted to school holidays. Although the villas are fresh and with good park amenities, it is ultimately just a self-catering unit. We were able to share the cost with family which made it more affordable. The higher end rates would amount to quite an expense for a single family (2x adults/2-3x kids) with a bill of nearly $3000 for a 5-night stay during school holidays/peak season. Hopefully the tent/caravan sites are more affordable. Other than this, we were very impressed by the Park and would highly recommend the villas if your budget can stretch to that!

Family celebration in Azure Lodge

We shared the amazing Azure Lodge for my 70th. 3 Fantastic big bedrooms with awesome ensuites, plus a twin single, everything we needed in the kitchen, room to move and gather for all of us, toys & games for the kids. Fantastic, we had a great stay. p.s. The creaky floorboards are obviously original
