Fantastic venue

Karen and the staff could not do enough for us, they were simply amazing and we have already rebooked for later in the year. The apartment we have was excellent, fully self contained and very comfortable, and very well maintained> It located directly opposite the ski lifts and on the back drop of a panoramic view of Falls Creek. It would be very hard to find better.

DO NOT STAY HERE — Complete scam + abusive staff!

We booked a 3-bedroom apartment at Falls Creek for a ski trip. It’s only about 80m², tiny and old, but cost nearly over $2000 AUD AUD per night !
Eight of us squeezed in, with four guys sleeping on bunk beds. It cost each person around ￥1500 per night.and that’s fine I take it.
The lobby is smaller than a cheap budget motel in China. When we arrived late at night, no staff was present at all — they just left a key outside and ignored us. The room was dark, old, and run-down.Again, I can still take it since falls is popular in winter.
But the worst comes:
On check-out day, I left early for skiing and had no idea about check-out time. (I did not book the room) They only left a tiny note on the fridge saying 10am check-out — no verbal reminder, no phone call, no proper notice. For this price, 10am check-out is ridiculous.
Around lunch time, staff suddenly showed up. A man with a beard burst into the room without knocking, yelling:
“Why the f*** are you still here?!”
He was extremely rude, aggressive, and swore at us. They forced us to pay an extra 400–500 AUD for late check-out and “cleaning fees” — pure robbery. I want to say, wtf did you not call us at 10 or even 11? Why wait until afternoon?
Some of my friends were too scared and apologized to him, but even if guests are late, staff has NO RIGHT to swear, break in, or insult customers.
Location is just okay, but the path outside the building was not cleared of ice at all — it was like an ice rink, super dangerous for guests. They don’t care about your safety.
Facilities listed on their website are fake:
No proper reception, no real service, no help with anything.
They only show up to demand money and yell at you.
Avoid this place at all costs.
Worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced in Australia.
Greedy, unprofessional, and verbally abusive.

Super comfortable, great service

Our family of four was extremely comfortable in our lovely, pristine clean, quiet and airy apartment. We had everything we needed. Our hosts were very accommodating, flexible and helpful. We couldn't fault anything. The apartments aren't as trendy looking on the outside as some but inside they are wonderful and we really enjoyed the location too, with great bike and walking trail access and a view across the gum trees to the valley. We would love to come back.

Amazing accommodation, comfy stay, great view from the room. Quick and easy check-in.
No toiletries or tea/coffee/sugar provided- BYO.
The place has no lifts and hence have to get all your luggage upstairs by yourself through the narrow stairs. The approach is a steep climb and may not be very access friendly for older people or with kids.

Good service, we got upgraded to a bigger unit. Good location as well, next to 3 lifts! Older apartment unit. Clean. Could be better is they provide the basic pantry supply such as salt pepper, tea/coffee bags, sugar, milk.
