Comfortable convenience

You can't beat this location in Lancelin! It's a great spot for getting to the main break, back beach, shops and tavern in no time ( even riding bikes, nothing is more than 5-10 mins away). We stayed with 2 kids in the bunk rooms which was great to have them off / away from the living space. Facilities are simple but have all the basics as well as Having a large fridge, stove and utensils which made it convenient for organising the family without having to eat out the whole time.

Overnight stay

Bedding clean but uncomfortable mattress ,light bulbs out,no milk coffee tea or sugar supplied.front door doesnt lock.Not much privacy for master bedroom with only curtain seperating lounge room.It was a reasonably clean unit but dont think $ 400 for 1 night is worth it.

Not what I expected

Stayed one night out of two as accommodation not what I expected. Tired is not the word for the room...Curtain covering the bedroom (which I was not expecting was so ragged), sofa same, musky smell throughout and bathroom door came off hinges...

Good location and clean but flawed in hot weather

The chalets are well located next to the beach and we found them to be clean and well stocked with towels, linen and the like with a decent kitchen.
Unfortunately we were fooled by Tripadvisor into thinking the chalets would have air conditioning. I'm not sure who was responsible for this (whether the operator has ticked a box they shouldn't have or if there is some other innocent explanation) however we wouldn't have considered booking if we had known this. Our trip coincided with a heat wave with temperatures of 46 degrees during the day and low 30s at night which was quite unpleasant. We ended up leaving a day early and forfeiting our money. I can understand why many would have a good time here at other times but the temperatures were really ridiculous with hot winds blowing off the desert the whole time.
A lesser issue we had was the weird see through back door next to the bathroom which meant we were naked potentially in full view while bathing our young kids.

Not what I expected

The best thing about this accommodation was the coffee shop next door!
No air conditioner, very tired looking. Find it hard to describe as a chalet, perhaps backpacker accommodation would be a better description. On the plus side management were very accommodating when we realised we were missing bathroom towels.
Maybe our expectations were too high but wouldn’t stay there again.
