Stays in Hobart
We recently stayed 3 nights at the Ibis Styles in Hobart. The Sky Bus station no 4 is just near the hotel building. The hotel is close to port and Salamanca Market. Reservation was made online, check-in was quick and seamless upon arrival.
Our room was good size for an Ibis property. Bed was fine for excellent sleep, bathroom spacious, showered worked well. Room included desk, chair, safe, ironing board, fridge, kettle, tea or coffee. It is a basic but functional room, perfect if you are simply needing a place to stay and get some sleep during stays in Hobart.
The hotel has an Asian restaurant. The breakfast was good. The strawberry milkshake was something special.
Would be happy to stay here again next time in Hobart.
There is a ground floor access to an Asian restaurant on location as well as a pool and gym facilities on the hotel grounds.

good value
Amazing hotel with a friendly staff. The room was large, and the service was excellent. The restaurant downstairs provides excellent meals. The location is handy for most of the attractions and places to visit.

Great location, staff with little care, but a little expensive.
Silver member, a family night in two connecting rooms 130 and 131.
Plus:
Very good reception on arrival. Very friendly and professional staff.
Welcoming handwritten word and small touch of attention offered by the establishment.
Very clean and well equipped rooms.
The heating worked very well.
Breakfast offering a varied choice for all tastes.
The swimming pool offers a beautiful view of Hobart and it is heated. It's very nice, even in summer.
A laundry room is available by the pool.
Possibility of parking for the vehicle in the basement of the hotel for a decent price.
Great location to visit Hobart on foot.
Improvements:
The information on connecting rooms should be highlighted, since a room with a king size bed must be booked to pair it with the children's room.
Booking for dates very close to the finish of the Sydney-Hobart sailing race, so price a little high.

Great pool and pleasant but compact room
We had a one night staycation in Hobart and decided to try the ibis as it is one of the few chain hotels in the city we haven’t tried. I am accor gold and was welcomed with a bottle of wine, 2 drinks and got late checkout (more about that later). I had booked the highest category of room which was deluxe king. It was not much more expensive than the standard room and gives you a harbour view and a larger room. The room itself was not huge but acceptable. We would not want a smaller room however…
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Great water pressure from the rainforest shower and nice toiletries. They give you shampoo and body wash. If you want other things, bring your own. This is an ibis after all.
The hotel is well located near the waterfront and a short walk from restaurants and shops. It is perfectly safe and well lit area.
A highlight is the lovely pool and sauna area. Long narrow pool which was warm enough. One suggestion - could you do a swimming lane by blocking off half and leave the other half for annoying kids? And could you say no kids after 8pm… we had some really irritating behaviour from kids and parents do nothing.
Great value stay and we will be back. We did our own parking at village cinema car park.

Had a room with King-sized bed. Everything was awesome except for the HVAC system for the property next door. It comes on at 6am and turns off at 7pm. If you want a peaceful sleep-in choose a different room.
