I was on 10th floor, amazing view, clean room, indoor outdoor pools and what not.

Awful
DO NOT STAY HERE - it honestly fees like a scam .
We paid premium price for a two bedroom ocean / beach view apartment and we were given a room staring into buildings on level 2 with no view of the ocean. We complained to the management staff and they said they couldn't do anything about it, that's how the room is classified. The room also had a terrible smell, the couch was filthy, stained and stunk. The ensuite bathroom shower was full of mould and could not be used. We raised all of these issues with reception immediately and they gave us glen 20 and said they had just deep cleaned all the apartments 1 week before and there was nothing they could do. If that was clean I would hate to see the apartments when they are dirty. Aircon in bedroom does not work. Windows can be barely opened as they are so old. The curtains are old and dusty and filthy and and smell. There is so much dust and dirt on the window sills inside and balconies. Avoid staying here at all costs unless you are happy to waste your money. We've stayed in much older apartments in Broadbeach that are far cleaner and superior to this. We had driven 8 hours from Sydney with two kids and had no choice but to stay as it was over New Year's Eve and everything was booked out. We understand sometimes things happen but the Management at ocean Royale and Expedia's customer service did nothing to rectify.
Save your money and go elsewhere.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Ocean Royale was terrible from start to finish. The apartment was in awful condition – outdated, dirty, and completely uncomfortable. It did not match the photos or description at all. Basic amenities were either broken or missing, and it felt like no effort had been made to maintain the place.
To make matters worse, the front desk staff were extremely rude. In particular, Ashley and her team were dismissive, unhelpful, and lacked any sense of professionalism. Every interaction with them felt like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests. Also the out door pool was emptied for maintenance druing the school holidays
There are plenty of better options in the area – do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

It does not have adequate resources to engage qualified security personnel to guarantee the safety, comfort and convenience of school graduate guests during this period. Please note that reception closes at 17:00 on Monday to Friday, and 12:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. If you expect to arrive after these times, please contact the property in advance to arrange key collection using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. If you do not contact the property in advance to arrange late check in, keys cannot be left for you and your booking will be cancelled.
